A little hard to tell in that pic, but looks like your spindle is unsupported. If so, was it like that the whole time during the upgrade?

Same deal with my old man's 3rd Gen a couple years ago. More plastic, but less shit to rust.

Unfortunately no, I came from a set of hand me down retrofits that were pretty terrible so marking my original hotspots wasn’t an option. I ended up backing my truck out of the garage some and using my best judgement to get them aligned.

Like this, just be aware, the beam is super wide so if you’re on one side of the garage it’s going to look wonky at first.

This is what the lights looked like on the truck during the alignment portion. No lens or shroud so I could tweak as needed. Before final assembly I cleaned everything up and make sure everything was spotless before baking the lens back on.

I wanted to find the part number for the clamps that I removed.
I did and will order them today. There are two different part numbers that I need.

Don’t worry. It was supported by the brake and ABS lines. Jk just briefly drooping. Mostly was bungeed up.

Wait, I thought the brake and ABS lines were the only way to support it? What's this bungee method you speak of?

Looks like they are going to total it. What a shame..... Only got to drive it 4 days with new frame and suspension. Have not receive compensation package yet. I have done some research on value (KBB, family mechanic, etc.). What do you all think is a fair amount? 2011 Tacoma SR5 Access cab. Billy 5100 all around. BRAND NEW frame. 130k miles. 5 Speed manual. In Rhode Island.

Did you try to fight them on it? They tried to total mine a few years back with like 8k in front end damage. I told them To check again they thought my truck was worth only 12k and when I told them to do another search for a loaded Off road trim with extras they saw it was worth over 17k so they fixed it instead. Id make sure they aren't looking at a base model pricing and they are looking at a fair market price for right now. How much did they quote to do the repairs?

IF the frame isnt bent and it just ripped the rear axle off and dented the panels buy that bad boy back if they are hell bent on totaling it and make a fun rig out of it in your spare time.

The insurance company isn't your friend. Take screenshots (or similar) of similar trucks of very similar years and save those listings. The insurance company will most likely low ball the value and you don't have to let them get away with it. If you adequately prove actual resale value you'll get that value eventually. Forget about your truck having bilsteins and forget about their value unless you notified the insurance company and paid for extra insurance coverage for them before the accident. Remember they're running a business and just like any other business their bottom line matters to them. Don't accept a low ball.
