The problem with your request is the southern half of Missouri is the Mark Twain National Forest. There are literally hundreds if not thousands of miles of trails and dirt track and mountain biking and everything in between all over. It's a real hidden gem. And it's freaking massive lol

So How can I narrow it down further-give you guys the route (roads etc?) The TMOT goes basically down through it. What I am looking for are your favorites and I will sort out from there...

@uploadadventure will be your best bet.

Admittedly whenever I've been down there.... I just kinda go everywhere :D

My favorite spots are actually in the SW part of the state, around Bull Shoals lake

So far I drove them till my warranty expired.

1989 (6 miles new on the showroom floor)
2.4 lt 4spd manual. Made in Japan!
I’m not even sure how long the warranty was but Arlington Toyota in Arlington heights, illinois replaced the clutch at 10,000 miles . (Drag racing every weekend since it was a week old at Great Lakes Dragway Union Grove, Wisconsin.
    Bracket Racing Labor Day 1989
    8EEC3B9C-3D92-4095-8A9D-68161694502D.jpg
made it to 300,000 miles and was hit by a 30’ uhaul truck and sold it for $500.

    2015 (5 miles new)
    36,000 mile warranty.
    3D9413E1-5102-458F-826C-9BDA59391E0B.jpg
    Traded it with 49,000 miles

    2017 36,000 mile warranty.
B8A25AE2-E94B-4946-9C72-D4758BCE9AA7.jpg Traded it with 95,000 miles

2021 36,000 mile warranty.CC59A4A6-9397-4E96-AF6B-9FA219F5EC22.jpgCurrently at 15,000 miles and less than a year old.

If the Tundra i saw a few weeks ago didn’t have a $12k markup on it, I might have broke that trend.

The markups are so bad my dad gave up on his dreams of ever owning a new Tundra.

He's currently on his way home in a Baja Storm Titan Pro4X with just the right amount of fixings, for $4k under MSRP (plus his work discount [$3k] plus his trade in [$3500]) so you know..... $10,500 under ain't too shabby

And I got to test drive it yesterday and I gotta say..... I love 2nd and 2.5 gen Tundras. But..... that Titan Pro4X really brings it. Actually drives a lot nicer than a 2.5 gen Tundra imho. Better sightlines too.

    Tundra > titan

I bought mine at the right time lol

It might get traded for a 3rd gen.. we’ll see how the hybrid shakes out. People have been getting mid 20s on the v6 TT

I just saw a video where a guy did a 100 mile fuel economy test and got like 23 or 24! It sounds like Toyota might be going after Ford.

As far as the other topic at hand..

I have planned on keeping this 4Runner forever since before I bought it...

    But...

If the next gen is totally awesome and get crazy ass fuel economy like the new Tundra, I'm going to have a hard decision to make. Especially if they switch to the newer style KDSS like the Landcruiser.

The sports are noticeably lower than the off-roads. Like it's almost comical especially with those fugly grills.

Mid-20s and the new Tundra? I believe it.

As far as going after Ford, the only Fords that get that kind of fuel economy are the tiny engines when going downhill. Comparable size engines to their Toyota and RAM brethren they're getting just as bad.

I’m not sure what model I saw. Just had weird lines, but I’m not opposed to changing my mind.

I’m still torn on option packages. I love my pro but I also like the platinum with avs and air bags

either way it’s gonna be a hybrid most likely

That MPG wouldn't last too long like that with people like us adding 35" tires, suspension, armor, and whatever else we can think of/fab up...

Very true. I'd be extremely jealous if after adding all of the goodies that the tundra would get better mileage than my Tacoma. Wouldn't make me love my Tacoma any less though!
