    It's no secret I like all types of music. But I appreciate people that can truly just sing and hold your attention with just the smallest amount of production. I wouldn't call myself a huge Adele fan but no one can deny that she is an amazing performer and has an unbelievable voice. This song is so simple with just a piano, her voice, a true bass, and a kick drum just for the fill. The vast majority of this song is in the key of "f" which gives it that melancholy sound. No autotune (which is fucking refreshing). Just her true voice with a wonderful piano backup.

    Dude, her and a couple others... My face leaks a little for some reason... Some songs just set the tone and you'd be crazy to deny the talent it takes to sing like that. Hell, I'll go from Jinger, to Adelle, to Distrubed, into some MJ and back to Thy Art or something. From high octave to low growls, I appreciate it all. But at heart, I'm a rock and roll early 90s kinda guy ;)

    I really enjoy watching reaction videos from vocal enthusiasts.

    I'm like you brother. I'm all over the place when it comes to music. I grew up in the late 80's (graduated high school when I was 17). I lived in Hawaii, Virginia, and California until my senior year of high school when my parents got divorced. So I was exposed to quite a lot of different music growing up. The biggest influence on me as far as music goes was Pink Floyd and more importantly David Gilmour. Once I heard that guitar I knew that's what I wanted to play from that point on.

    But I like everything. I saw every hair metal band that came through the city in the late 80's. You name the band? I've probably seen them. But I like everything from Classical, opera (about the only music that can actually bring a tear to my eye even though I have no idea what they are singing), rock, R&B, rap, pretty much anything that isn't overly autotuned.

    But I gravitate towards artists that are truly talented and can just hold my attention with their talent.

    Kind of like this. Love his voice and since it's in my register I can sing it at full voice instead of faking it.

    I have the VHS and the DVD! :D

    I use to have one of the original movie posters too, they were handing them out at the campus movie theater where I originally saw it. I can't image the uproar today if you tried to show something like this on a university campus. :rofl:
