When we re-did our kitchen the granite company called me at work to meet them at the house for delivery and installation of several pieces. So I drive home and let them in. Section with the sink was a large "L" shaped piece cut from a single slab. We didn't want a seam. I leave them in the kitchen and head to other end of the house to stay out of their way. Next thing I hear is a lot of yelling in Italian. Walk in to investigate and the cut out for the sink is off to one side by 10" and the sink is not centered under the window. Offered me a huge discount. Nope. I wouldn't be surprised if they actually lost money on our job.

 

I hope they don't lose money. Especially since it's a small business owned by just one guy, with maybe 3 or 4 workers. Don't want to see small business get "screwed".

Curious if you've ever ridden a Honda CX series bike, a/k/a the Japanese Moto Guzzi.
If so, are the handling dynamics similar given the engine configuration. I've never ridden a Goose but had spent some time on a friend's Honda GL 500 Silver Wing (basically a CX with a fairing and hard bags) back in the day. He had eclectic taste in bikes; went from a 500 Interceptor to the Silver Wing to a Harley to a big Honda cruiser. I'm know I'm missing a few but got to ride a variety thanks to him.

Ive ridden the cx500 a few times, good all-around bike for traveling, but in my case, it has a higher seating in my case (30") inseam but doable.

On the cornering side of things i found the cornering it didn't /doesn't have the finesse of a Guzzi but could get used to it.

At the time of MFG. Liquid cooling was new and I preferred air cooled, both have their
benefits,

if you're interested in a bike like that consider the age, was the antifreeze change at reasonable intervals et. changing the clutch if i remember the engine needs to be pulled and I vagally remember some of those bikes had camshaft issues but should be sorted out by now,

That was many years ago 40+?

There should be Blog for that bike somewhere in web.
