    Evening all:

Sounds like a fair price to me, especially by the quart. I buy the 5 quart. containers, when I need the extra quart I just pour it out of one of them that's dedicated to the extra quart and add it to the motor, been doing that for years!

I liberally applied silicone to the rubber seal on the door, if that don't work I will try the suggestions, thanks! Like I stated, this is the first time that has happened, and it happened to two of them. The rear door would open, of course, but I didn't have enough room to get the snowblower to it, I knew I should have built a bigger garage!

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
We have just gotten that sort of scaling up tax on gasoline just put in last year in Mo., problem is that is only for our "state" maintained roads and bridges. Still have the funding issues for the individual counties and cities.

Good morning fellow Porchatonians!! A light coating of snow this morning. Nothing really planned today other than spending some time on the treadmill. Too darn cold to play in the garage.

    Stay safe out there!

Slept in till 7am today. Not much planned breakfast, shower, practice guitar, haircut, maybe do some grocery shopping, start to repair coffee bean grinder, then cook dinner. Not a hard day just busy. All the snow and ice are gone from Sunday's weather event. Going up to 37 degrees today. Feel the warmth. :bananadead::pccoffee:

    Good morning fellow Porchatonians!!

Taking the Tacoma into the dealership for the final Toyota Care service - sure doesn't seem like 2 years since I brought the truck home.

Supposed to get cold at the end of the week - projected low of -7 overnight on Friday into Saturday.

Stay safe out there....and stay warm, too.

Nice day yesterday. Breeze, lots of sun, mid 30's, removed the remaining ice and cleaned everything up. 38° already today. More snow tonight.

I think it is just the on/off switch, a toggle switch, which I can fix or replace. Yesterday got away from me and the grinder was the only project I did not get to.

All of our white stuff has melted. Gooe morning to you too.

If you need hearing aids check out Costco. I purchased mine there almost a year ago. So far, I am still happy with them. Only downside to them is if the wife talks to me and I am streaming anything from my phone she does not like the fact that I cannot hear her. Not that big of a problem to me. :)

Today is a music lesson and taking a return to the UPS store. I will probably fill the wife's car with gas while I am out and about.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Gals! Yesterday went well, 6 months given for the next visit with this heart Dr., and new aids ordered from my audiologist.

Sorry Tom, no Costco in any reasonable distance from here, and not a member. Insurance had some improved plans starting last year, so instead of a set out of pocket, I get increasing discounts as I spend more. So, I get a lot more aid for the same money. No more batteries either, and a much better array of adjustments in the App. I can probably even wear them outside working, and that will be better for me than leaving them out.

Just a haircut run, and home to prep for tomorrow. Could we see "snow"? It's possible. But we will have three nights below freezing, and tomorrow will likely only be 35* or so, after todays high of 80*!

Truck did enjoy getting a little road work yesterday, even if I could hardly catch a tail wind. Smooth and quiet - I like it!

I am badly in need of some hearing aids. Unfortunately mine will be out of pocket and probably battery type due to the cost.

I’ve heard nothing but good things about hearing aids from Costco , especially the cost. If you are not a member and there is one near you, you may want to consider joining. It may be your least expensive path. The problem with Costco is they have so much great stuff at great prices that it’s difficult to get out of there without spending a couple hundred $$$ each time.

Took a ride to the Sierra’s just for something to do and to check out the snow. It was breathtakingly beautiful up there. The pic is of frozen lake Caples (one of my favorite trout fishing lakes). The elevation here is 8000’. There’s a lot of snow but we certainly need more as the mountain snow is our water in the bank. Just thought I’d share.

Whatever you do Greg, DON'T get batteries. Regardless of other choices, everyone making modern equipment ditched batteries about 5-6 years ago. LI Rechargeable will have far more features, simply because of newer tech included. My aids are approx 8 years old, and she said they were the last type of battery units Phonak ever made.
Yes, I see an Audiologist. I was a sound Engineer in my younger days, and it's more than just sticking an amp in your ears. BTW, ITE (In the ear devices) will really isolate you, as you will not hear ambient noises you really need to process your environment. They are "anti-social". OTE (over the ear) are far better in this regard. They all have limitations, but OTE has fewer.
You should be able to find a good, rechargeable set with On-Line instructions, probably Bluetooth and an app for $500. Basically, they will help you get set up, and you adjust from there. Lots better than the cheapies my Dad had, even though it took forever to talk him into those.
    Good luck.

I think you can use that, the pharmacy, eye glasses, and food court without membership.

Veterans get good hearing aids no charge from the VA. Mine have been upgraded to newer models every two or three years, and they tweak them as needed when your hearing changes. They give me the fancy stuff to go with them, but I'd rather go the kiss method. No charge but for a nominal co-pay for the audiologist, or free altogether depending on your reported income. There are still some benefits for Veterans!
