Magnuson Supercharger, Raleigh, NC

Looking for an installer for my new Magnuson supercharger in the Raleigh, NC area.
I have called several shops that claim to deal with magnuson, but all were only GM vehicles.
I have reached out to Fred Anderson Toyota, but no one has gotten back to me.
Anyone has a good resource in this area that I can turn too for this install. I dont have the time nor knowledge to really do this myself, nor the tools

 

I would be happy to do this for you and would even been willing to travel to your area but I would have to install it on my truck first to verify it's not going to cause yours problems. That's just how thorough I am as a mechanic.

who knows what will happen. I had a mechanic lined up, but he just split his hand and got 15 stitches, so it's gonna be a while before I can ask him to do this now.

 

I have heard NOT to go to Iron Pig in Fredericksburg.

Id help you, but i dont have a garage or experience doing the install. I do have pretty decent mechanical abilities

 

Thanks man, I appreciate that. I have a garage, but like you, no experience, nor tools to complete the job. I have "some" tools, but not the right ones.

yea dude, I know what you mean. It's sitting in the box taunting me as we type. I just know that I need someone to help guide me through it if I were to do it myself. Then I would have to get some additional tools. it very well may come to that, but I'm holding out hope that someone in this area can help.

 

I installed mine and you're more than welcome to come by and check it out. I am in Apex, NC. I can help with complete install, ECU reflash and HP Tuner mods as well.

 

I hope they can do it for you. They always treated me well with my old 2000 beater Honda Accord

The tools that I have are a 100 piece Craftsman "automotive" tool set, + a few more. Shouldn't you be able to get it done with that?

 

Yup. 8, 10, 12, 14, 22 spark plug socket 8mm Allen, hose clamp pliers, hose cutters. Possibly crank pulley remover. Drain pan obviously. I think a flat head screwdriver to install the studs for the dual pulley setup for the supercharger belt... I legit had flash backs of doin the job.
