You are correct. $350 is a no brainer for the shocks only. 5100 were next on the list, but the shortages make them difficult to acquire. Of course there are superior kits out there. Other than 5100, what kits are budget friendly.

I only wanted the shocks for under $350. I have no plans of off-roading, so why would I need a 5x better kit for more money?

Look at the Eibach stage 1 kit for another good budget option that you won’t regret later either. It’s not too expensive and can be paired with a 1” block in the back if you are wanting to keep costs down and aren’t planning to carry extra weight on a regular basis in the bed.

Supply issues are a big problem right now so everything is hard to find unfortunately.

sounds like they are the 16” Tacoma TRD pro rims which are worth around 1k new. Not sure about the tires. How may miles are on them? Wheel size would likely be close to stock with that tire size. Not sure if you are trying to go bigger than stock or what kind of driving you do or want to do.

10k miles on the tires. I did have plans on going to 16’s from the stock 17’s that the Sport comes with anyway. As far as driving, mostly pavement and light/moderate off-roading.

Beautiful. How much did you pay for your TRD Lift if you don’t mind me asking?

Found another Toyota dealer a little further out who would do parts, install, calibration and alignment for $2,150 + tax... Which seems to be more in line with some of the better pricing I've seen on here

seems like a good deal as long as the rims are in good shape.

I got the lift installed when I purchased mine new a few weeks ago. If you read through this thread,a common theme is it’s expensive for what it is. I’ll just leave that for yourself to decide. The thing is for me and a lot of others you get the factory warranty. You get factory parts, factory grill. All sensors calibrated ext.. And probably the biggest thing is it just gets included in financing. No hassles of out of pocket money, no adding a aftermarket lift that may potentially void a part of your warranty. You just spent 40k + on a new truck, it’s a no brainner to me. My 2 cents.

Well put. I think it’s hard for many people on this forum to understand that some people don’t care about getting “THE BEST LIFT EVVVER” or saving a a grand or so.

Dealer said they would need an extra wire for 18-19 model years which bumped the price up a bit. Wonder what's different in the grille.

Maybe the harness to the radar is slightly shorter in the Sport/OR due to location of it (middle) vs the Pro grill (lower)? I thought I remembered that the wiring was slightly longer for the Pros because it is down farther in the grill. Maybe that was only in '18-'19 and then they just standardized it to a single longer harness on '20 and newer, and so it isn't needed on those to do the conversion? Just guessing/shooting from the hip, don't know anything for sure.

    Heck yeah!

If you could do an overnighter/2-3 days depending on when you could schedule it, I'd wanna save the difference between $3K and roughly $2100+ if you did it here in Delaware. No taxes in DE is the best!

Wow that is a really good price! Seems like low $2000s is generally considered a good deal. To be under seems amazing! Do you mind sharing where you got it done?

I was wrong. I looked back and found the receipts, looks like it was actually $2200 and change.
