Yeah I'm grandfathered into the lump sum, everyone here after 2017 won't even get that.

 

Damn..... Like..... That stinks. Crappy Union it seems.

 

We're pretty sure someone's getting a tug under the table. They even split off into two pay scales the contract before last because they had too many cross the line during the strike.

Been here almost 2 years

25-40% bump in pay each time.

Each time I either got bored or management decided to reorg or something stupid and everyone left.

 

There are still ones out there that you don't have to go to school for at all. You can work as an apprentice for a few years to get your certifications.

That's how it is for me, up in pay each time, except once when I was in college I got desperate for a job and worked at Scholastic for less. I only worked there like 4 weeks though.

I need a pay bump or to start a business.
