Interesting note on Ford trucks and vans. The trucks have the newer 6.2/6.8L gasser option while the ESeries vans still get the 5.4L
We’ve had crap luck with any of our trucks though. My GMC 2500HD has its 4th fuel pump going out on it. 2019 with only 150k.

If I use the same ruler that I use to measure my manhood, I’m actually cycling 22” at the hub. :rain:

I am right at 15” last time I checked. Limited by the upper uniballs. The_durchman_2_ on IG old truck I believe was cycling 18” with his solo xlt kit. And I believe @Basikbiker is around 18” as well with his j arm kit he built

What?!?! I haven't even gotten my dream charger yet. What the hell could I be doing wrong to get there. I am very consistently 9.8-10.5. Saying 37s will increase MPG is a hell of an oxymoron in my head but if that's the single difference it makes me think... I'd be a happy guy at 14mpg. You got a +3 body too right? I'm trying to think what other factors I could have

It probably has more to do with a heavy foot and going higher speeds. As soon as I get my truck around 65-70MPH, it just starts eating fuel to keep up with the load of propelling a non-aerodynamic steel box through the air. If I cruise around 60MPH or less, I get like 17-20MPG. If I stomp the pedal it eats a lot more fuel. I’m on 35’s and stock gearing. Driving habits are a huge factor with any vehicle’s fuel economy.

I do have a custom tune for the truck through HP tuners as well. But yeah just regular driving around town and now being aggressive that’s about what I get after calculating it for the bigger tire size. Highway driving does drop it to 11-12 if I’m cruising above 70-75.

aero and weight accounts for a lot too. Your roof rack that he doesn't have is probably 1 or 2 of those mpgs. Smoother front bumper and high clearance rear bumper he has is probably another

Re driveshaft: iirc the spring under kits pretty much all stop at 16-17 cause that's about where leaves start to separate and about where driveshaft plunges all the way at 15-16 depending on the shackle setup. Somethings gotta be way off to bind on uptravel because it would basically have to travel that far the opposite way. Should be at least couple inches in at ride height / full stretch of the driveshaft lol

Re exhaust: If you can route the exhaust all the way to the back of the truck and exit pointing straight back, that will make the biggest difference in in-cab sound. I've tried a few different setups and all the others just turn the bed and cab into a big echo chamber (think blowing an air compressor at a 5 gal bucket but bigger) regardless of whether the exit pointed down, out to the side of the truck, or straight. Not easy to get there with big travel but well worth the effort. A resonator gave me a better sound but made it louder so may not be ideal depending on your preferences

What is the go to method for extending the filler neck for +6 bedsides?

reach out to Harry, he has a kit for the spring under set up to reroute it and he could easily give you longer lengths. his kit reroutes it all and gets it away from the tire too.

Are you talking the shock mount kit or something entirely different?

Ok, I was unaware he had something for this. All I knew about was the filler neck stuff that comes with the shock mounts, I’ll give him a call tomorrow. Thanks!

Beyond the return and the breather tube? Mine doesn't reach due to me putting my relocates a hair too far back so I need to lengthen the filler neck itself like 1". I'll probably just cut the metal tube and add like a 3" section of fuel hose (the extra for overlap).
