    Re: Poll
My windshield has been cracked for 3 years now. It cracked and terminated in a nice oval surrounding the Defrost vent. Not in line of sight, so no issues so far. Got a dozen rock chips too...

My rear windshield is pock marked because I didn't think about the consequences of grinding next to glass when I did my 62 swap and ground off all the stock suspension mounts.....

I made a ladder rack for a friend’s plumbing truck when I was younger and didn’t think about welding over the windshield. It was like 40 grit sandpaper when you turned the wipers on. He said something to me once, I said sorry. He never said anything else.

I always forget to cover up when welding too so I either get a nice tan or arc burn. Last time I welded on the truck I was welding overhead while laying on the ground and hot slag melted right through my old army shirt and may have melted a chunk of flesh in a couple spots.... Eh scars build character, right?

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Even more so when they are brand new boots($150.00) with Nylon Uppers never gave it a thought.

Being Gortex I think I just tossed them out so Long ago I can not recall

I was forever in some sort of slop !

I bought a 1025r a few months ago. I got one with a backhoe, loader, mower, Loaded tires and a few extra lights, it was way more expensive than I’d have thought, but pulled the trigger with 0% financing. That setup was around 31k.

    I dunno?

We were 18 and decided to travel to Colorado to go skiing. No cell phones back then and a 70 hp Ford Escort.

36 years later I still think of it often with delight.

Hopefully you don't have to deal with a massive car repair be cause he broke down, but if the trip happens like it's supposed to, he will have life long memories.
