My local 2021 friend has the JBL and ordered the AJT knobs - didn't have to specify it was for the JBL. So if those knobs fit both, the RAV4 knobs that I got like 4 people to order already should fit the 2016+ JBL as well. You just have to shave down a few mm off the back side of the knob so that it will work with the push button feature and fully seat.

Is that Swisstrax smooth pro flooring? Floor and Decor has it dirt cheap on their website. Thinking about pulling the trigger while the price is low. :notsure:

Question on the bed light install: Did you have to take off the dash to install a relay switch? I got a quote from the dealership today. Wow, but they said the dash had to come off. I thought it was a simple plug and play through the brake light housing.

Good eye. Yes, Swisstrax smooth in Slate Grey with Jet Black border. I've had both the smooth and normal ribtrax, the smooth is better for rolling tool trucks and my wash buckets. Smooth is also easier on your feet when you're barefoot in the garage. Granted, the ribtrax does hide the dirt a little better, but honestly not even to notice or make me choose ribtrax over smooth.

Is that a deer walking past the front of your truck? !!!

In reading all the pages, you had answered other posters. Great fun!

We have deer go through the yard here regularly, but they don't try to steal the picture while working on the truck! ;-)

Can I ask what you used to cut the tiles? I've got a jigsaw and dewalt miter saw. I was thinking of using the miter saw with a 60t or 80t blade. :notsure:

Yes exactly. My painted Sport bumpers seem so vulnerable to damage. Maybe once the warranty is over I may look to installing a steel bumper.

The more I look at that steel bumper the more I like it. It’s a good looking match to OEM. Especially the electrical 4 & 7pin location and the placement near the lower tail lights.

I've used both a table saw and a 18" floor cutting tool. Both work great. The table saw with a fine tool blade cuts the tiles like butter, but leaves a lot of shavings afterwards. The floor cutting tool also works great, if you know someone who has one. I haven't seen anyone who rents them and they are like $400 to buy (Roberts 18" Floor Cutting Tool) - I just happened to know a guy who had one when I did my first garage. The other two garages I have completed were with a table saw. The tiles are 15 3/4". I'm not sure a miter saw will work without having to flip the tile. The jigsaw will be good for random corners or non straight cuts, but I wouldn't count on that as my only saw for the job.

its all plug in play if you have the bed light switch on your left dash already.
