Any downsides to the roofrack that comes on sports? The only thing I would ever put up there is our yakima cargo box and maybe and mounting an awning. I like the idea of when not in use it can fold open so I dont get extra wind noise.

 

It's a great project to learn and practice on, as everything pieces together perfectly and the outside welds get ground down into a rounded corner in the end, so the welds dont have to look pretty at all for the most part

@Buttskevin21 the bumper is looking good. who did you end up getting the bumper kit through.

Finished the bumper the other night! It is a Coastal Offroad "extreme" clearence front flat top. Gets rid of the low hanging front crossmember. Just need to make a bulletproof front skid and shes ready to wheel again

i already have a swingout tailgate i think im just going to weld a bumper kit together from coastal for about $700

Sure does. Swapped my OR grille for the honeycomb style of the sport.

call me basic but i just like the way the pro grill looks on the 3rd gens

 

That has got to be one the best grille swaps ever. Not that my opinion matters but I think both trucks look better. I usually like the bro grille even though everyone has it but the sr5 grille looks awesome with that new flat bumper. Both trucks look awesome.

 

Thats what I thought to! The sr5 grille kinda reminds me of the lc200 grills

 

So does anyone have an extra bolts for the TRD skid plate? Need a middle bolt. M12x1.25x90mm. Can’t buy just the bolt. Have to buy the whole parts kit from dealer.

 

Have you checked Tacoma Screw?
They have odd ball stuff but you pay for it.
