You got any 80 series parts stashed somewhere?

I have totally forgotten about those and need to find them..

 

Just a fr+rear locker switch. Not much in my collection for 80 series. Neighbor bought most of the 80 series stuff for his from me when he got it

 

I want to get a Tacoma clock blank cut to accept a LC dial locker switch. Not sure if there’s enough space but it would be a good use for the pointless 01-04 clocks.

 

I have my eyes on that stupid tray thing in the Center console

never seen one before but that’s where power mirror switches went if you had manual windows

 

Send it, so I can take up the blank switch space

Since you have an auto locker that's on anytime you press the gas pedal you should just hook 12 volts to the rear locker light in your cluster all the time

 

I forget that these Toyotas are practically pre-wired for a ton of shit.

One little annoyance; the indicator light in my cluster has a bulb that's burned out - it's the one for D

 

Everyone's D is burnt out... Smack your dashboard above the cluster a few times and I bet it'll turn on again for a bit. I've never bothered replacing mine, it doesn't dim with the cluster backlights so I prefer it out when night driving anyway

The only thing I don't like about the LC switch is it assumes you want the rear locker on when you have the front locker on

 

Yeah, didn't mean to start this conversation again. I just think it looks cool.

 

Same for the JK and JL Rubicons; rear only, or front+rear

 

It does and to be fair most of the time if I have the front on you might as well have the rear too.

 

Or go all out...

 

Dumb question; is the Spartan locker that's in the rear only work back there or can it be swapped up front?

Jake had asked and made a great point about adding a selectable in the rear; would make it stupid capable if I were indeed triple-locked.

Your front axle is a high pinion Toyota 8" your rear is a low pinion Toyota 9.5" they're not compatible with each other. But a lunchbox in the front in an AWD truck is a very bad idea, it's not even a very good idea for the rear. Selectable is the way to go for both
