Cruised out to fish creek today and imma stay away from the rail road tracks for a while super soft silt pretty much the whole way. More than usual I feel like.

4.88s and Detroit locker went in today. Hopefully I can knock out a break in period and then some before the trip. I’m holding off on my JD inner fenders, tubing the core support, and Bedcage/upgrade spring under until after this trip. Enjoy a couple more trips out of it and then tear it apart again.

My Detroit has been in a box for 5 years. Haha. The street drive there alone will break in the gears. I think I'm 180 miles away. You have some fun mods there

Yeah. I’m going to drive it to work for the next week and a half. Should be about 70-80 miles a day. I already have about 40 in. I wanted to get the inner fenders done before but I have no downtime with doing the break in.

I figured I can tear it down after the end of the month. I’ll be selling my archive sua kit and 14 smoothies. Then start working on the rear set up again.

At least the sand is soft out there. It's like having a few more inches of travel.

Hmmm... I may have to add this to the agenda. I'm heading to Mammoth the following weekend, so I'll have to see how things shape up.

I’d also like to explore this trail I found the sd 4x4 gpx file for the run they did. I don’t know how many rigs were on the run but doesn’t seem terribly long time wise.

anyone actually done it? I’m curious how required that locker actually is. Couldn’t find anything online about it other than Trails Offroad saying its “moderate” but no other info was really given

I may go check out some parts of it this weekend and see. That club I got the info from is very organized and has lots of good info though.

Found this video about it. They make it sound like its not too bad (skip to 2:49). My guess is the group that did that map above did some of these other trails in this video and included it as one giant route

We've done some of it a few years ago.
Right side is moderate. Left side is more difficult
