May be a dumb question, but is my LCA angle too steep? Have this kit on first perch. Stock UCA. 7931B725-581B-4A91-A31B-90B965DD5BE5.jpg

wouldnt cause any over excessive Balljoint wear? Or say, a steering rack to leak? As mine just got replaced cause it was.

If you want a lift then the LCA has to increase in a downward angle. The higher the lift, the more angle the LCA will have. That is the way it is. Unless you do something custom.

On the first notch right now, what do you guys think if I added 70 lbs to the front - stay on the first or would that warrant going up to the 2nd notch?

That's where my thought process was but I wasn't sure if 70 lbs was enough to cause sag or not. And since I'm not very truck handy I have to outsource all the work done so I try to get it right the first time.

On that train of thought - I bought these preassembled on the 1st notch, how labor intensive is it to move them to the 2nd notch?

Spring compressor needed and moving clip to second notch Then re assemble

    Sounds simple enough to me.

I'll watch a youtube video on it so I know what's going on (I don't do any of my truck maintenance work but that doesn't mean I don't like learning about it).

    Just installed my eibach kit.

Eibach lift kit stage 1 (2nd clip)
    Dirt king UCA w/ caps
    KYB strut mounts
Icon 3 leaf 1.5 AAL (w/ overload in)
    Headstrong Offroad 1/4 lean spacer
    17x7 +4 sema pro wheels
265/70/17 wildpeaks but will be going 285's soon

Ride is amazing, stiff but in a very good way. No more bouncing around on the factory shocks. Would I recommend it? Hell yes!

Got my kit on last week. Going to get an alignment tomorrow and need some help on what specs to target. I know someone probably posted this in here previously but I’m blind and/or lazy lol. Here’s my setup for reference:

    Stage 1
    First notch
    Stock UCA’s
    Deaver 1.5 AAL
    265/75/16 + 0 offset

Just for clarification, the lowest being the bottom with the Eibach coils gives you about 2in lift from your stock height. So you do not need to set the perch at the highest to gain 2in from stock?

I see most have it set at the lowest. Doing my install tomorrow hopefully.

Correct, bottom perch will give you about 2 inches. Those directions are if you’re using oem springs.

Got my set on and alignment done.

Unfortunately chasing the wretched vibrations now. Did the ECGS bushing, but vibrations still persisting. Trying the cb drop this weekend. If that doesn’t work then some axle shims

First Perch w/ 1/4 spacer for taco lean
Deaver single AAL w/ overload left in
    265/75/16 Ultraterrains
    Motegi MR149 0 offset

Are the wheels and tire new, if so then the vibe might be coming from them and not the lift.
