still available? Will these fit a honda pilot with a leveling kit?

 

Stock height only, sorry.

 

It will however fit a lowered Honda Pilot if you add a lift kit to it.

 

I can make it fit.

I also did a very unsexy mod today, I moved my midland radio from inside of the center console to underneath it where an inverter would be. There’s adequate space around it and even vents at the back of the center console.

I found the radio to be getting really hot last trip with all of the chatting so I wanted to make sure it has a little room to breath.

 

Is that a micromobile GMRS?

How's the range? I keep going back and forth between wanting 45W and cheaping out on 15W.

Also does it have a PA function output?

 

No PA and the range is more than I’ll need on the trails to be honest, and that’s with the small antenna.

 

What's your SHTF no cell signal backup? Or do you feel confident the 15W would reach out of the woods?

 

I have a Garmin mini for Sat comms. I absolutely love that thing.

Yeah, a price I’m willing to pay for peace of mind. I pay monthly so it’s like $12 a month. I use it primarily to text my wife when I’m out of service. It’s nice knowing if there’s an emergency, she can reach me.
