I'd like to say that's debatable but it's really not.

I'm absolutely getting my ass handed to me at work this last week and a half. I'm WAY past the point of caring and I'm nowhere near done.

Throw some hardcore cravings for sugar in there because I'm going all-in on a low carb diet and it has been an even worse day.

I'm literally about to start :frusty:.

It would be nice to have that kind of time.

This thing is the purest definition of "quick and dirty." I don't like quick and dirty. I'd rather have it done once. Correctly. But again, no time.

I rarely get the use of a Super high end thermography camera so when I get the chance I jump on it. Saves me tons of work. Never fails the day I get it a catastrophe breaks out somewhere & it’s a No Go. Like clockwork. :annoyed:

My butcher block top showed up today. Aside from a couple of dents on one edge, it's in good condition and no signs of separation. I'll just make the dented side the one that faces the wall and since I'm going to bevel the edges with the router, it'll remove most of them anyway. I'll sand what's left a bit and call it good. Weekend project.

This may not be prettiest weld I've ever seen but far better TIG weld than I could do. There was near 3/8" gap bridged on that leading edge. Hind sight being what it is...I should have removed the bottom bolt first and get the backing plate tacked. As it was it dropped down in there. We fished it out but decided just to leave it out rather than putz around trying to get it back in place.20220120_155815.jpg

Actually not bad for its age and life in Nebraska/Iowa starting to get a little rust through in a few spots. Few scratches and dents. 2000 model year and 174k miles.

This dude hauled this mini hoe in and back filled this house under construction then loaded it up and left. We had 4 inches of snow Sunday, it’s been raining all day and now snowing again. That has to be one muddy mess.

When we had that garage built at the old house, I was sure surprised at how much the dirt settled around the foundation. I added dirt at least two times around it.

@wilcam47 or other woodworkers, what stain would be best? My wife says water based would probably be better and last longer than oil based for our desks.

There was a brick wall next to my desk and for 10 years this sign hung there -- I left the sign for the next damn fool to sit there.

Hang in there friend, tomorrow will be a better day.

Often that turns into "we do it nice because we do it twice". :annoyed:
