I bought my truck used with one key, the salesman promised me a second key however he left the dealership shortly after the purchase.
It took some persistence through e-mails but I did get my second key. ;)

You might try the dealer (wasn't it a Chev dealer?) where you bought it but it it wasn't part of the deal you are probably footing the bill. :(

I would think Toyota would be savvy enough for that message not to pop up on your head unit if it wasn’t applicable to your vehicle…. But perhaps not… :annoyed:

I also bought my Yota from a Chevy dealer. And when the finance schmoe asked if I wanted an extended warranty it felt great telling him, no thanks that's why I'm buying a Toyota.

*my salesman and finance guy were both gone very shortly after I bought the truck.

Customer brought two of these by and wants 8” cut off and rethreaded. They are 1/2-18 thread. Had to order a die.

    It's aluminum :D

If the lathe guy was here he could single point it.

If we had a manual lathe I could single point it, I don't know how to use the thread cycle on the cnc lathe.

I thought you could solder aluminum? Have I been lied to? Or is "soldering" aluminum called brazing?

It's called 'welding'. Soldering normally refers to the use lead/tin alloy which is melted and forms a bond between either copper/brass/tin. Brazing is essentially soldering with brass vice lead/tin. Neither soldering nor brazing involve melting the parent materials, welding on the other hand means that the two parent materials are melted and flow together, usually with a filler material. AFAIK, there's no way solder/braze, or anything else aluminum, except to weld.
