Rustoleum high temp bbq paint or engine enamel paint would work. I've used the flat black bbq paint on a 2 stroke dirt bike header.

Those don't look important. lol. What are you doing? My idea of weight loss is drinking smoothies with a buncha green shit in em.
Are these easier on the eyes? I replaced my bulbs with LEDs and while they are obviously brighter, almost gives me a headache if I'm looking at them the wrong way. I mean, I know the housing are not designed for LEDs, but for just interior bulbs I've never had a problem before.

I still have about 1” of rake, which is what I wanted. But the good thing is, I can always just adjust the coilovers up front to level it out.

lol, I've seen people post about doing that but I guess I'm too tall to need that. Hell, my leg already hits the steering wheel every time I use the clutch so that kind of thing would make this truck undrivable for me.

Custom, only one ever designed and built interiors, heavily welded frame, all sharp metal turned bed rack and a roof top I made for $75. Power pedal, injen intake system, cat delete, summit racing brake proportioning valve controlled on the fly, slightly adjusted or perhaps unrecognizable ECM, built in under bed storage, high clearance rear built with 1/4" on a 6011 1/8" rod at 120 amps, 360 degrees of led light, a PA and CB, on board air, on board propane (to cook food), on board fridge made from an old red bull fridge found on some guys man cave built into the storage cubby under the back seat, imported tranny and clutch from a good friend over in Europe to replace this aisin junk we get, combined 32 gallons fuel capacity, 18 5 gallons of water storage, built in gun locker under RTT, and all it cost was to hear the wife ramble on about upset neighbors at 2 in the morning every night since I bought that damn truck..
To answer everyone's questions, life is a teacher, but experience is a tenured professor. I bought the truck not fully understanding what was beneath the paint. I've learned some not so nice things that in fact apply to any and all new vehicles that thru reading the right schematics and manuals, you'll gain an appreciation for the borderline criminal thought that went into making this kind of stuff. It's meant to be fool proof, but they forgot to add me into the equation haha

lol, now I just have more questions!

EDIT: but I think I'll find the answers in the couple threads you've been posting to about electrical gremlins and other electrical things

EDIT2: not as many answers as I had hoped, but the trip back from Joshua Tree sounds sketchy as hell. I'm assuming the removed components are the result of chasing down an electrical short. Instead of Hawkeye Pierce you went Machete?

I thought I was going to have my sliders received and installed by now. They got into town on tues vie Fedex and every day so far they have been on a truck "out for delivery" then around 8 pm I get an email saying they are delayed. Yesterday they were delayed at 5pm due to "weather". Try to call fedex and the damn automated phone won't even let you talk to a real person.

i was in between how to wire mine. with the cargo lights or a dedicated switch. now that you mentioned them shining in your eyes, i'm going to go with a dedicated switch. What harness did you use?

And still today it’s a symbol of good luck and fortune in Buddhist and Hindi countries.

When I went to India I was pretty surprised and confused, to say the least.

Eh, I just find an open spot where the lines on either side are not crowded by shitty parkers and back in. I don't park out in BFE, and I don't wait for spots up front. I just park.

You aren't supposed to use them on the highway. Its meant to be used at low speed to get better coverage and not blow half the solution away.

It's not a problem they work fine

Unless you're trying to inform a tailgater of your displeasure. It's much less of a dick move than brake-checking.

    Thank You for your service!

I've had good luck with this one from Cali-Raised. I tried some from Amazon and had issues when I cut off the cheapo switch and replaced it with an OEM quality switch. I am sure it was my screw up somehow.
I've let the magic smoke out of more PC components than I care to admit :bananadead:.

I bet there are other harnesses that are just as good, but when I find something that works I just stick with it. The nice thing about this harness is the wire bundle even with shielding fits inside the windshield side channel that goes up to the roof rack.

    https://caliraisedled.com/products/wiring-harness-single-leg

To tie into the Cargo Light I went with the harness from DSIM Solutions. He has some great products on his site. When i get around to doing rock lights I'll probably re-use the DSIM harness with those.
