I see that most people seem to be using OEM style switches for their cornucopia of lights on their various Tacos, but all of them are single action, on or off, switches. Does anyone know where I could find a similar style On-Off-(ON) switch? I like having the option to use momentary to flash lights rather than flicking on and off quickly. I usually only use a lightbar to inform dickheads that they are driving around with their lightbar on like assholes. I've got a handful of On-Off-(ON) switches in the parts bin, but I'd like to see if there's an option with a cleaner, more OEM, look. Thanks in advance.

I believe that there are split switches with different functions for the top and bottom. Also that a momentary switch can be created from a latching switch with some easy disassembly. That might work for you? Check CH4x4 and AoB for their selection.

I noticed the same thing. I have got the site to load in the past, might be a glitch on their end currently. Tons of switches available from them though.

There is a problem with CH4x4 website today, the images will not load. I'd give it a couple of hour, then check back.

I think CH4X4 is a great place if you want custom. You can also designate the switch as latching or momentary. I personally really like AirOnBoard as well for the light blue selection. You can’t customize them like CH4X4, but they do have a good selection. Now, if you’re kind of odd like me and want the best of both world, you can get a custom made switch from CH4X4 and then swap the face with an AirOnBoard to get the same backlight. You can also solder new LEDs if you can find the color you like (just be aware of the resistor value as well). And for an On-Off-On selection, check out anytimebackupcamera.com for a few choices. You can also swap the LED on those for what it’s worth…

Or just go all out and run a Switch-Pros. If you can imagine a way for a switch to function, it’s likely the Switch-Pros can do it.

I can think of a lot of ways to make a switch work that a switchpro can’t do, but I also spend too much time thinking of ways to make things do stupid things. :rofl:But if you are just looking for on/off or momentary (with the option for a strobes output), switch pros aren’t bad.

If there's one criteria Switch-Pros doesn't meet, it's OEM styling. Depending on where my build goes, I may end up with something like that anyway but for the near future they just don't fit the bill.

Man this post reminds me that I need to find a switch for my Super Bright LED chase lights.

I also need an On-Off-(ON) switch to be able to change the strobe function with the momentary side.

These are the ones that I bought a while back for my Mazda3's lightbar, though the car got totaled before I could overcome my laziness and replace the normal rocker switch that I had. They are alright but not really the OEM styling I'm looking for.

This. This is exactly why I decided against one. I considered this as an option briefly:

At least with that, they could be kept out of sight. So the clash in styles wouldn’t bother me until I actually had to use it. But… it would still bother me. So I took the concept and ran with it:

I do really like keeping the OEM aesthetic.

    Oh look, another mod....
I like this button, but if I press does that mean I get it, or I am giving it to others? :)

maybe one of their duel function and tinker with that? or maybe they can custom make a dual button with one being on off one being momentary. Only way would be to email.
