I took the dog for a walk of over 30 minutes, in single digit wind chill temps, just like I did yesterday. Neither day did she do her business. This constitutes a failure of a walk. The 9 inches of snow has compacted down a few inches and has an ice glaze over it. My little dog was able to to glide across the top of this mix, with no issue. Me, I broke through with my overweight self so each step required high stepping out of the shin deep snow. My legs got a work out.

Speaking of mustard, I had chili dogs with shredded cheese last night for dinner and then put the chili and cheese over French fries as well. That was a tasty dinner.

Currently 28° / feels like 19°

Just got back a little walk from my house to the community mailbox area . Just under a quarter mile total distance to / from my house . But in 28° temps and a feels like temp of 18° , I'm now frozen !!!!

My truck didn't like sitting in the driveway for 3 days either .I had quite a few icicles below the nerf bars and cab and it was hard to start

 

time to panic snow is sticking to the pits and hoollies!

 

Evening friends, it’s still cold 15*, and I’m still not liking it. But it’s the weekend!

Short answer, no.

Long answer, I am in a dilemma because I am not allowed to connect the shed to the house and the house also needs a new roof.
Which means permits, which means inspectors. So I have to reroof the flat shed roof, then reroof the house, then connect the 2. I would like to make the shed roof into a gabled roof, connected to the house, but that won't happen.
