This may be old news to some but it was new to me. I lived in Ga for many years and never heard of the 2" lift max. Surely the lawman doesn't ride around measuring lifts but it's good to know the law before you are in a crash. I hauled frieght for 25yrs all over the US and have heard really jacked up stories like a driver found guilty for liabilty over hitting a car that pulled out in front of him. He missed a inspection on a part that had nothing to do with a car running a stop light but the truck was not legal to be on the road. So a jury awarded for wrongful death https://superlift.com/lift-kit-laws-by-state

    Very interesting...
While it clearly applies to the state of registration / ownership, it's not clear if you can drive your out-of-state vehicle to / through a state with more stringent restrictions...

I have no idea but I bet those laws state to state are inforced just like any other. If you are there you can't bring your own laws

    Oh look, another mod....
    Texas
There are no restrictions in place for body lifts or suspension systems.

We can go buck-wild in Texas. Hot Damn! Now I need to go put a 87" lift on my Taco. I'll be sure to cry about the dealership denying my warranty when I fuck up my suspension.
