Well just ordered the first part of the front end rebuild and freshen up. Rack and pinion on the way. Going to order new outer tie rods too but thinking about switching them to uniballs too since I am trying to ditch all the stock ball joints and rubber POS boots.

Edit: This is what I want to do. But want more of a direct replacement so I dont have to ship mine out and wait for them to come back.

Anyone have any other ideas or seen something similar in their interwebs travels?

I work for a fencing company up here in show low. Do all the contractor sales for fencing, decking, siding, fireplaces, garage doors and well pretty much whatever else I want to sell. How you been? Still liking the life in Utah?

Very cool! I figured you probably didn't go back to working for Big5.

I love the snow and cold, but the drivers suck monkey balls and the smog is literally to "die for"! I feel like I'm in LA when the inversion sets in for days on end.
Most of last summer we dealt with the smoke California's fires.

Yeah hell no not going back there haha.

Yeah I hate the drivers there. Drove thru in August headed up to Montana and it added about 2 hours to the drive because of the drivers.

Not too bad @KingOfTheNorth ... not too bad at all.

truck drove great on the way home, compared to when I took it there. Not too stiff or springy, but not a lot of sway or anything on the freeway either. feels nice and balanced now front to back. Measured when I got home.. from ground to frame: Front 19", Rear 19.5". took a couple measurements from other points as well to confirm.. really only about 1/2" of rake. It will settle with time and our other gear. should be about perfect. Went from having 1/2" of clearance at the rear bump to now 3-4".

That's a very beefy looking leaf pack. I think I counted correctly at 11 leafs.

Did a turn and burn to CVT in Las Vegas yesterday to pick up one of their new hybrid RTTs...it's pretty damn sweet, and will tide me over until I join the Super Pacific/AluCab/GFC Cool Kid Club at some point :D

This was also the first road trip since setting my RXTs to option 3 and a u-bolt flip. I was expecting it to ride stiff, especially unloaded, but was pleasantly surprised how smooth it was.
