    hello all:

I have a 2021 SR5 4x4. I was thinking about getting a half-inch leveling kit, but would like to see some before/after pictures, if anyone has some to share.

    thanks!

I would wait before doing any kind of lifting as this may affect your new vehicle warranty. I have seen and heard of guys lifting their trucks and having issues and the warranty will not cover so think twice but it is up to you I know I would not. Not discouraging you just the facts.

I did a 0.5'' spacer on my truck new to level it. 0/5'' spacer = 1'' of lift. It looked good, rode good.

I have since Upgraded to a full Eibach lift though.

^^ This. Same thing with a tune. Any powertrain related issues and you risk not being covered if you show up at the dealer with a non-factory ECU flash. Also not discouraging, but one should be aware of the potential warranty effects of modding a new truck and take them into consideration when making a decision.

I’m looking at doing this same thing: 1/2 front Toytec spacer or 5100’s set at 1.1”.

Would love to see some pics.

Do 5100s. They ride better and if you ever want to lift it more. The option is there

^^ yup. Even better - go with Eibach !

and if i had to do it all over again, I'd skip the spacer lift and get a real lift..

This is good advice, and I appreciate it. your point is well receieved. I think if I were to do a leveling kit, it would be purchased and done by my toyota dealer.

1" lift in front will level the Taco. That's what the PRO has.

Do yourself a favour and do the Bilstein 5100's instead of a spacer lift in front. a) you'll have much better handling & suspension and b) you wont be compressing your stock shocks.

5100's with 1" front lift and 3 leaf Icon AAL 1.5" in back... Full load here as well. Sits level with load and just a ever so slight rake with no load. Much better ride with 5100's as well.

    All of them.
Considering ovtune is not detectable by a toyota shop I wouldn't worry about that.

Under normal circumstances you are probably correct. However, Toyota can detect it. If the claim is expensive enough and Toyota asks the dealer to send them the ECU or provides them with the tools to read it then you'd have a problem. Lots of threads on TW discussing this topic. It's a dice roll I'd rather not make, but everyone should make their own decision.

I had the Headstrong offroad 1/2'' front spacer, and the Heavy Metal offroad tapered rear 1'' lift blocks. Both quality parts. And actually still have them on the shelf here in NH, not being used.
