Got a new 22’ being built in a few days. Are the nightshade wheels actually good? I’m thinking of getting Falken Wildpeaks, sounds like they’ll do fine in snow. I’m also curious though how big you can go with tires on the 18” nightshade wheels without rubbing problems.
Anybody got insight on this? Did some googling but couldn’t find much info.

I just put 265/70/18 KO2 I did get a tiny bit of rub on the UCA at full turn in reverse. Put 1.25 spacers on, no rub anymore

The nightshade rims look cool in person.

Just go 265/65r18 in an all terrain, it is the most common upgrade size on these trucks and results in the least rubbing issues.

Sometimes you need to remove the front mud flaps depending on the setup, but a quick max caster alignment fixes this as well.

FYI: The Nightshade wheels use a "skin" but the wheels underneath the skin look pretty nice by themselves. I'm torn on which way I like them.
They are 18" rims on the 2021 models, I assume the same for 2022.

What color nightshade did you go with? 2WD or 4WD?

Per the 2022 Brochure, they are still 18” wheels.

    I have a 21 nightshade, mine has 18s I haven't seen a 19 wheel option before.

Wonder if you have a different wheel as mine don't seem like a skin or film.

Oops, my bad. I should have proof read my post before I posted it. 18 is correct.

They are skins. I didn't know it until the salesman pointed it out at delivery. Take a close look at them.

My Duratracs are awesome in the snow.

They come with the 3 peak snow designation, and best rain rating! Sold off my dedicated winter tire package that came with my Taco. No regrets......

OP, you can upsize (at least one size up), no problem. I went from a 265/70/16 to a 265/75/16.

I was told on them rims with the 2n1 TRD lift 265/70/18”s will work no run no trimming …without lift 265/65/18”s that’s no rubbing no trimming. I would really like to know what the rims look like without the skins anyone have a picture.
