Ground venison doesn’t stick together well by itself, good fir spaghetti or something though

 

Interesting read. I didn’t know it had such a rooted history in California

 

When I go deep sea fishing we always take the same boat out of Emeryville, the captain’s wife cooked for us once and it was Venison pasta in red sauce. Was delicious.

 

It's cut with a bunch of pork fat, I made a meat loaf with some of it and I've used it in pasta dishes... Good for anything you use ground beef for besides burgers really

 

We usually grind everything up but the back straps, tenderloins and maybe a roast or two.

 

We should all go in on a bison. Ground bison, including heart, kidney and brain, is some of the absolute best ground meat I have ever had.

 

I'm looking forward to the Netflix limited series 'Monster' coming out soon with Evan Peters playing Dahmer. He's good at playing those psycho killer roles on AHS at least.

 

Shepherds pie is where my ground venison usually ends up

I have some elk sausage that I think is overseasoned, maybe a shepherds pie or some gravy would be a good way to eat it
