Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!! Welcome to that thing many of you call The Weekend.

I need to run out for a few things today and then Lynn and I plan on dropping by a local beer distributor that is having a tasting this afternoon.

Tomorrow - hot air balloon flight.

    Stay safe!!

Please share the hot air. In all seriousness isn't it going to be a freezing up there. I have been in a hot air balloon once in Colorado on a mid August morning and I remember it being kinda chilly. Really didn't think the kiddo and I would like it but turned out to be one of our most memorable things we did on that trip.

I'm afraid of heights but I'd like to try this one day. With someone that has alot of experience doing it so I don't die. Haha

I am not a huge fan of heights but it wasn't as bad as I had thought it was going to be. Just don't look straight down. The guy we were with has been doing it around the world his whole life and even scraped some trees and I was able to grab some pinecones from a tree as we soared down the backside of a hill. The control he had with this thing was simply amazing.

It's not that bad, really. I've flown as cold as -17. Tomorrow is supposed to be -5 or so. Once you get off the ground you hit the upper layers of air that are being warmed by the sun and since you are flowing with the wind you really don't feel the breeze at all.

Well folks, as of 3:30PM today I closed on the house over the mountain. :D

Now all the work to move all the stuff. Rented a UHaul trailer for the bulky stuff. Truck did ok, but did not like that mountain at all
