Considering a Coastal rear kit, does anyone of any local (VB here) shops/humans that could weld it up for me?

Weldworx has welded quite a few for my club, you’d be in good hands.

Anyone else in Hampton roads area with the Meso Total stage 1 lights installed have an issue with failing state inspection? i failed inspection last year because they said i couldn't have LED in the tail light, which i thought was BS. I ended up switching back to stock setup to pass inspection but put my meso stuff back right after. Just seeing if anyone else had this issue? Thanks

I live in hampton and have the stage 1, never had an issue. Also i think that’s bs because there is manufactures with LEDs in the tails stock. Not to mention all the other crap that i see pass inspections around here

Yeah, it was the dealership. i get this feeling they are use to seeing certain lights flash when they check it so they flagged it. Could also be a picky state inspector. I am going to try it again to see what happens. Change it out if i need to. Thanks

I think they're tagging you on this part, .
    https://law.lis.virginia.gov/admincode/title19/agency30/chapter70/section190/

It's under D(5) highlighted below...perhaps? I think the local shop I use for the Taco doesn't "know" the OE turn signal, versus just having two turn signals that are functional and operating correctly

Well Mason, it certainly is a far cry from CO, there is far far far less access to anything resembling public access 4x4 trails. That said, we do have a few places to hit rock and dirt trails. The most challenging being Potts Mountain. Trails aside, we have the ocean and bay, plenty of outdoor activities within a few hours drive from rivers to hiking trails (obviously we've got a decent section of the Appalachian Trail), then you have America's Historic Triangle, as well as lots of American colonial history, civil war history all over the Commonwealth. Then you've got Washington D.C. just a few hours north.

Thanks dude. I've heard of peters mill, and go up that way for some mountain stuff. Do you have any recommendations for beach OHV? is that anywhere near?

I'll read through the fourms, but thanks for the info!

I don't think there are any on the VA beach side...but do know you can go down to N.C., like down in Hatteras and certain sections of the Outer Banks area have beach driving, or allow it via permits they issue.

Peters Mill and Flag Pole Knob are much easier, and less technical than Potts Mountain...Here's some local VA guys doing it recently.

Depending on how much more options on trail and technical ranges in the regional I know there are 2 in PA are Rausch Creek and AAOA and in NC is Uwharrie.

How's everyone's experience with Checkered Flag Toyota? Do they post prices on vehicle? Best priced dealer in the area?

I bought two vehicles from them like 7 years ago and it was a positive experience, but that’s about it. More recently I bought a new vehicle from priority Toyota and had a good experience with them too. This was before the car market went crazy though so was able to get OTD for MSRP. No idea how either is handling prices now with the current market.
