Took it to the dealership for its first service. It didn't need it since I've only got 1,800 miles on it but it was free so

True, but there are better methods. Now I see where you're going with that. I'd rather not have to turn off my headlights. Now I don't turn my headlights off at all.

I see they haven't improved the stock infotainment system in the newer model.

My grandpa had one of these E827D42B-2DE9-4DEC-A2F8-361830AF8627.jpgi always liked the look of it. He beat that truck to pieces in the woods. The only thing left was rust.

Loved those trucks but they had an issue….they melted in the rain. Especially in salt prone areas.

Worked on a third brake light on my Softopper. Used a thin lightweight brake light made for custom motorcycles. With 60 LEDs, that thing is BRIGHT! The pics don’t do it justice. I still need to clean up the wires in the back and wrap everything up.

Swapped the ditch lights from yellow to white & put the OEM bed mat in. Not much going on today. Relaxing. Waiting on my TRD letters before I install the skid plate but getting anxious. I also have TRD blackout vinyls for the amber reflectors that I've been waiting to install until it's dry and warm. Not sure how I feel about those, but they were cheap so I'll check it out. I've seen some that look terrible and some that look okay. Guess it depends on the angle you look at them?

I've had them since November, lol. They will definitely sit there until summer at least before I give up on them entirely.

    Rad.

Not the factory third gen one.. Those seem to be spontaneously combusting lately. Beyond that, I'm useless, it doesn't snow much in Phoenix lol.

Any chance either of you have the oem d-rings in your truck bed? I’ve been needing a bed mat but didn’t know if it would cover them or not

I do have them in the back towards the tailgate. The mat has a spot for them. Others have added D-rings and I think cut small holes in the mat to accommodate. I plan on doing the same.

I bought a beat up old J10 with a more beat up old camper to live in for two winters in for my ski bum days in the early eighties. Back when Whistler had a parking lot just above the village with free electrical hookups.
