Yikes. Same reason I use Velcro on my GPS power cord.

What about moving the mount to the left of you, or the middle of the windshield and tilting the phone towards you?

Today I turned down an $8 order at the Popeye's on Street Road in Warminster because Popeye's locations in general tend to be shitshows, and each one seems to be run different since the pandemic...

The Warminster location is 100% normal; Both the drive-thru and indoor dining area are open, masks are optional, etc...

I stopped going to the Warminster location because I tried to pick up a DoorDash order at the drive-they and was told to park and go inside; The guy working the drive-thru was from India and had a thick accent, so I may have misunderstood him, and what I'm thinking happened is that the order wasn't ready yet and he didn't want to hold up the drive-thru. I didn't want to go inside largely because of COVID paranoia, and ended up unassigning the order and leaving after five minutes or so.

The Lansdale location is still totally closed for both indoor dining and indoor ordering, and does business solely through the drive-thru; Combine this with the fact that they are understaffed, and you can easily spend twenty minutes or more waiting in line at the drive-thru if you show up during peak hours...

    :annoyed:

I am DONE with Popeye's! :luvya:

I do not blame the customer in this case, unlike the retail workers who order fast food and leave tips of $1 to $2 or don't tip at all; I found out the hard way that Walmart doesn't bother to notify its customers that their groceries are delivered by a DoorDash driver, with two incidents on the same day the first time I did a Walmart order...

It was three orders combined, and one of the customers though I was a porch pirate; He was came out the front door and confronted me as I was walking up to his front door, and while he didn't explicitly accuse me of stealing, I have no doubt that he thought I was trying to make off with the very bags of groceries I was trying to deliver. I told him I was with DoorDash, and he stated rather gruffly that he'd "never heard of 'em"... o_O

He recognized the items he bought online, and seeing as they were in Walmart bags he thought he thought someone had already delivered them and I was stealing them. It didn't take long to convince him I was legit, but then he noticed some of his items weren't there. He didn't seem to be bothered by this, and seemed to think it was with another delivery person...?

The second incident of the day was nowhere near as a tense, but some guy saw a silver Tacoma backing into his driveway and came out to ask what I was doing; He was nowhere near as uppity as the old man who I have no doubt thought I was a porch pirate, but his radar was definitely up. Unlike the the behind-the-times old man, he knew what DoorDash was and reached the conclusion that his wife must have ordered some stuff online without telling him. Needless to say, after both of those incidents I invested in magnet "DoorDash" signs for the truck.

On another note, DoorDash tries to trick Dashers into taking multiple low-paying orders from Walmart up to four at a time by lumping them all together so they total payout is as high $24; I figured out their little game months ago and learned to carefully read the fine print before accepting.

Today was not as slow as Tuesday, but I still only got two orders; Both were over nine bucks, and the second one ended up going to my friend. I threw in the towel early and spent about two and a half hours at his house playing BeamNG.drive instead of dashing until 7pm as originally intended...

There are two Walmarts within five miles of each other in my area, and I regularly get orders from them; As stated above, I refuse to accept Walmart orders regardless of how big the payout is!

As I've said many times, I will not accept a standalone order of less than seven dollars!

And this surprises you? I've talked to few people who own Festivas, and they love them!

Fun fact, if you can get one of those leaned over enough, you can get almost another gallon of gas in the tank when the pump shuts off.

My aunts husband had one of those, big guy into bodybuilding.
He would do that for some weird reason. Why?, I don’t know.
Good guy, but looked goofy stepping out of that car.

He finally traded that car for an Explorer, trans went out in it in less than 2 years after he bought it.
