Just throwing a feeler out there to gauge what it’s worth.

Truck has a had a salvage title on it since November of 2019. It was in hurricane Zeta. Water went up to the frame but never in the cab. I have a video of me approaching the truck once the water subsided and she started right up.
It’s been a daily driver ever since. Frame is solid has normal surface rust with no pitting.

I’m more or less trying to gauge that very question myself. Being that it has a salvage title yet a lot of aftermarket upgrades I’m lost at how much it’s worth. I would say somewhere in the ball park of $10k somewhere but then I need to buy another vehicle and with todays prices on used vehicles up 40% Im kind of at a loss.

How did the salvage title come about if it didn't damage the vehicle? I am sorry to be naïve, I am just curious about the backstory of how title became salvage if not damaged and you simply waited it out to start it until water subsided. Thanks a lot. I am located in Southwest VA.

Sweet truck, given the salvage title and upgrades, I'm betting you could get $10-13k, but that depends on miles.

 

I’m a merchant marine, I was at sea and the truck was parked at HOS Port in southern Louisiana. Hurricane Zeta hit, it was in a low lying area and water came up to the frame without ever entering into the cab. One of my friends was in port and the took the pictures of the truck. I sent them to my insurance company and they totaled the truck just based on the pics. I got back into port and the water receded, I walked up to the truck and it started up immediately. (Took a video) it’s still been an every day driver since.
