    Hey there taco peeps,

Last year I was in the bush... A lot, and I noticed that I never had a good spot to store my axe or shovel. I looked around online and some manufacturers wanted "unreasonable" prices.

Fast forward 6 months, a 2.5K TIG welder, new 60 amp pull on the subpanel, and a couple beers, and I was ready to weld the pieces mounts.

So, I thought I would share the mounts I made with the community to see what others think. I assume they fit all generations.

It was fabricated from some 1/8" sheet stock cut on a water jet and welded together.

If you notice squares cut into the mount, they are designed to be used for Rotopax using carriage bolts with the Rotopax locking mounts. The design is intended for the Rotopax to mount under the rear window, or your shovels/axes on the sides of the box.

Let me know what you think!

I test fit a "survival" shovel and and it works perfect, but I will note that a larger gardening shovel, depending on the angle of the scoop will be touching the side of the bed.

This still an option? Rather throw my money your way instead of paying for those cheap rotopax mounts.
