Got it . I figured they were different tunes due to your description of the tunes . Still I definitely want to read some reviews to narrow down the direction I need to be on selecting the right tune.

I've ran your tunes in the past and they definitely were noticable. For me my truck is on the heavier side 5,350 lbs and I dd my truck 39k a year roughly so reliability, dependability, and performance is really important to me . My dd commute comes in at 146 miles a day . Mpgs are a concern also

Here's a video I took when testing.
Stock tires, stock gears (3.90), only holding brake to keep the truck still. Released brake to move foot to the accelerator. No fancy smoke and mirrors.

This was a recent trip to the Upper Peninsula with my family of 4 and stuff for a 4 day weekend. Speedo is not calibrated, so adding 12% for correction pits me over 18 MPGs.

I’m shooting this thread over to our testers so maybe we can get some of them to chime in.

 

I will tell you my truck is heavier than yours, by a lot. I DD mine roughly 500 miles a week through the mountains. MPG is very much a concern for us and we’ve done our damnedest to not put a huge dent in that while squeezing out more power. It’s definitely a fine balance, but even I’ve seen an increase.

I’ve ran KDmax here in the past and saw a loss of roughly 1-2. I’d say we’re probably on par with that if not slightly better.

I’ve been testing multiple iterations of this tune for months now. ‘21 TRDOR on 255/80’s. The most current version, with ect off, pushes super hard. My run to 119mph wasn’t hard to accomplish. I’ll get a higher number on Sunday. I do have an aFe Takata intake, which I think helps. I’ve never run KDM but would very happily put my truck against any non-force induction truck out there. To say I’m beyond impressed with the performance is an understatement. I’ll answer any questions you kids might have.

I do. 500 miles Round trip each weekend. Mostly highway with long stretches of 2 lane desert road. During the week just around town driving.

 

I commute 730ish miles a week Monday to Friday

 

Currently on kdm pro and one feature I would like to see in a tune is that say your approaching a uphill grade , your speed is 60mph. As you ascend truck will downshift to 5th holding roughly 1,750 rpms . As you continue uphill grade truck stays in 5th ,but you get a rpm jump just past 2k rpms still holding 5th . Now is this the your torque converter doing full lock or half lock , is it possible to have this function go past 60mph? Here is my dilemma , if I could have a tune that it could do what I described above that would be the selling point to me . I would love to further discuss this .
