What lift, if any are you using? Any chance you can post a side shot?

Not sure if that would help much; be better as a two door with a shorter wheelbase. :D

    Personal experience:
If the trailer hitch is bent down at all from a rear hit and the frame is slightly creased where the attachment is……….Fully Totalled (at least in Oregon).
The insurance company gave me exactly what I paid for it (had 13k miles).
The one bummer thing was they were going to sell it back to me for $11K with a branded title, which I was totally down for, it was fully drivable and would have taken half a day to cut/weld a new hitch attachment….. BUT Oregon will only let a “damaged frame” vehicle get sold to a licensed salvage company.
Last time I checked Carfax it’s living a great life in Lake Tahoe and has 150K miles on it haha.
If you can buy it back in your state you’ll have lots of leftover cash after paying off the loan so you just have to fix it up and get the new salvage title.

I have bilstein 6112’s set at 1.5” lift and a 1” block in the rear. The block will be getting replaced soon for a full set of leafs if I can figure out which set I want. 81DACD36-98AA-4B88-AAC8-F03CE4F3B717.jpg

Looks good. Thanks for the info. Odd to see the white stuff on the ground in Mooresville.

I did the same, mine actually lasted about 5 years and 2 trucks but eventually started rotting out because stupid me kept forgetting about rain and leaving my Softopper sides up. I’m going to go Decked this time too. It was a really fun project though, and had features Decked doesn’t.

Hammered the retainer thingies back on each side. Coaxed it into position with my feet while raising it up.

Probably going to take the exhaust off and chop it because I'm not crazy about how close it is still.

I’ve got to get my new spare under there, was thinking about chopping them off but maybe I’ll just smack them with a hammer. I’ve already chopped the exhaust as I don’t like seeing the tailpipe on one side (ocd) lol

I thought about cutting them off but if you take it slow it'll nestle in and they'll still do their job. You can also kind of use them to keep it away from the tailpipe b/c you can smack the driver side farther back. I just used a little three and a half pound sledge. Worked like a treat.

Ironman 4x4 has some pretty good prices I’ve seen them in person, they seem sturdy:

NAPA has an AMAZINGLY priced one but I don’t have any info as to the quality:

I’ve had my broken OEM windshield replaced with aftermarket; the new one did have the same mount.
