I'm really liking the Swampfox Sentinel. I prefer green dots. I wish Vortex would offer more green options.....cause those are my favorite :D

I have astigmatism, so I definitely pick up the green better. I run a Vortex Strikefire II on my AR with the green/red.

I've always been a big fan of Vortex, just wish they'd start offering more stuff in green. Swampfox seems to be in the same ballpark as far as price to performance. They offer a 50,000 round "warrior" warranty rather than Vortex's no questions asked lifetime.

I put a VMX-3T behind my Strikefire. I really like the new micro magnifier Vortex has.

When I was in Academy last night getting the 48, I went by the ammo aisle...........was pleasantly surprised. Good bit of 9(HP too)/5.56(had a bunch of 200rd green tip boxes), 308/40/45 was a decent amount, even saw some "oddball" calibers......even picked up 200rds of Remington 220gr 300BLK :D

    Since swampfox got brought up.

I'm looking at a pistol optic and am between swampfox kingslayer in green. Reticle option of 65 MOA ring with 3 MOA dot center.

And the holosun 507c x2 in green 32 MOA circle with 2 MOA dot center (has 3 different reties to cycle through in one optic)

I'm curious if anyone has used the kingslayer on a pistol and found the eye relief with the 65 MOA be pretty much useless and take up the entire field of view?

Yeah I saw these but trying to find a sight picture for the kingslayer is a little more difficult. I'm leaning towards the holosun for the exact reason above. Almost thinking of getting the holosun for the pistol and the kingslayer for my truck roni

The only RMR cut Glock I have is the 48. I don't think the Kingslayer will fit on mine or I'd throw it on and get a pic for you. I know the Sentinel has the RMRcc cut for mine. I was gonna grab a Vortex Venom when I picked up the 48, but found out it's not a direct fit.

If you're ever over my way, let me know and you can throw the Kingslayer on your pistol to see for yourself.

All are good options. The really big reason I'm looking is if you're going for transitions that's where the ring pays off. If your ring is on the target no matter what your rounds will impact in the ring so you can sacrifice precision for speed while still having accurate impacts

The Swampfox has won me over simply for the green. I was hesitant on the Vortex(even though I'm a fanboi) b/c the red just doesn't work well for me.
