I’m having a hard time finding a mgm Sr5 4x4 5ft bed anywhere in New England. Is this a decent option?
Just for chuckles I put my truck in their sell thing. I was offered just under 27k for my 2018 trd off road 4x4 with 57k. Seemed pretty frickin low to me!

Anyone ever try the Costco program?

Carvana will lowball you. I purchase my AMG from the, it was a great option at the time because my credit sucked. That being said he interest rate was insane. I traded it in on my wife’s 4runner at a local dealership and they gave me $5k more than another local dealership offered and $3k more than Carvana wanted to buy it back for. My best advice is to shop around. Find the truck you want and go to the dealership and make a deal, doesn’t work, try another. It sucks but with the used car market the way it is right now you are stupid not to shop around

I purchased my 3gen after selling my 2gen privately. I thought I got a pretty good deal a year ago at 25k cash 2016 sr5 4cyl 69k. I had thought of going for a 6 cyl but none available at the time. With inventory sooo low I guess I’ll wait,

Traded my 2019 2wd Sport for a 2020 4wd Sport through them. Wanted Cement but Toyota stopped making them for 2022 and couldn't find a new or used one across the nation optioned like I wanted after searching for over a month.

Started the process beginning of last November. The purchase itself was easy enough through the website (didn't use them for financing). However, I'm still waiting for my registration to this day.

I wouldn't recommend anyone buy a vehicle from them for anything. Look up the lawsuits and DMV's in different states that have fined them for such issues. They're even banned in some states from selling vehicles because of this. I filed a complaint with the Texas DMV.

Selling? Yeah, that was a pretty smooth process. They paid off the old loan quickly. Gave me what I paid for it when I bought it 2 years ago.

Beware. Carvana has a bunch of lawsuits pending for not sending titles after purchase.

Google it. There permits to sell have been revoked or are pending investigation in a bunch of states.

Otherwise right now local dealers are your best option for trade in. Some will out right buy it even if you don't buy a car from them due to the inventory shortage.

I sold a vehicle to Carmax last October and got more money than any other avenue. Took about an hour.

Try rumbleon.com for the sale. I sold two Harleys to them and the process was very smooth. They wire the money into your account (net of your loan payoff if there is one) before they pick up the vehicle. Made me feel safer about the entire thing. They also buy trucks and SUVs now.

I bought my 2019 Taco from Carvana right before this whole pandemic price craziness exploded. I also sold them my Corvette in the same transaction. It was a seamless and stress free business deal that I would absolutely do again. And no issues getting the title from them at all. Can't say what it's like doing business with them now, but my experience was nothing but positive.

Same, I sold Carmax an old high mileage Silverado with peeling paint and some rusty panel corners here and there. They paid well above anyone else, and equivalent to a good private sale price. The actual visit and transaction was very quick and painless. While I'm sure they didn't put my Silverado out on the lot (I assume they sent it straight to auction) here's something potential Carmax buyers should be aware of.

Carmax has a reputation for doing cheap and shoddy paint jobs on sketchy vehicles like mine, using their in-house paint shops. This is supposedly why they pay well for vehicles even if the exterior is rough. There's a good number of complaints out there about Carmax vehicles having paint issues pretty soon after purchase. Of course a large portion of the vehicles they sell will never have been through their paint shop because they didn't have any issues, but it seems like it's a luck of the draw situation. Many vehicles need paint despite having no accident history; as a Super-White 3rd Gen owner this is at the forefront of my awareness unfortunately .

When I sold my 4Runner last year, I got a quote from Carvana. Of the offers I received, it was the lowest. It was also the fastest and most user-friendly experience to get a quote.

Same here, selling them my Escape was seamless, would not do a purchase from them though.

My son bought out his F150 lease and sold it to Vroom a few weeks later. They sent a flatbed truck to his house and picked it up. He made a few $K towards another vehicle.

I sold my wifes '05 Rav 4 with 130K miles and they gave me $4100. I danced all the way to the bank. No craigslist, no tire kickers. A couple minutes on their website and about an hour at the dealership. Very easy transaction.

I have used the Costco program to purchase my 2021 TRDOR DCSB, 6MT, Premium, Advanced Tech, OEM Tonneau, Barcelona Red Metallic. Paid $250 below INVOICE. The second time I have used Costco, and I would not purchase a new vehicle any other way if I have a choice.

KBB and Carmax, the nice thing about KBB is it sent it out to a few local dealers and they beat Carmax by $1600.
