Glad to hear it. Thanks for the update.

 

3" of fresh powdery slick snow so far today. Wonder how much more we'll get overnight and tomorrow. Took the family to walk out on frozen North Park Lake for the first time. My ten year old saw the people ice fishing and asked if we could go on the lake.

 

Must be nice .. we just got a dang coating.

We had a few flurries

 

We got about 4 inches. Spent part of the day shoveling the deck, walkways and driveway. Another workout that I would pass on, if I had the opportunity.

 

Just got done shoveling, 30 minutes!! Got a new shovel, called the snowplow 36 inches. Like Charlie said what a work out. I'm sweating and my arms are shaking. But it was quick. Luckily it was powdery type.

 

It is powdery. I must have a shovel similar to yours but I have put too much gravel in my driveway over the years, in an attempt to stop puddling in certain places. There are to many high spots that, when I hit them with the shovel, the resistance is like a weight lifting workout and I am too out of shape for that.

I'll second that. I was enjoying my day until that shovel tried killing me.

 

Lol. Still no snow here. You guys can keep it. Was. Bit cold this morning though

 

A couple flurries flying, but nothing actually really settling. The brutal cold is still lingering though, boilers at both places are constantly running (not literally, but just alot). Just filled the oil tank in the place I'm in now, and since the new place only has a hair over 1/4 tank I had to order oil for there at the same time. Had to switch companies so I had to prepay first time round'. $450 for 150 gallons on top of the $500 I just spent at Lowe's for miscellaneous house shit. This adulting stuff is not easy

Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanains!! Pretty exciting football yesterday!

We got a 1/2" of powdery snow overnight. I'll go out in a bit and shovel it off the shaded area of the driveway by the garage - the sun will take care of the rest.
