Buyer Beware: KTJO 4X4 Driver's Side Grab Handles w/ A Pillars, HUD, and Bowl Lights

I ordered a clearance drivers side grab handle last night and received a tracking email today, i will take pictures when it arrives and i install it. Hopefully it comes in one piece and the correct color

 

What does the bottom side of the HUD look like? I swapped my tweeter with a 3.5" speaker and want to see if I can clear it.

It's funny that even after 282 pages, and all the info from the original post, that "we" are still buying from them. It's almost like this thread helps them. I mean, I would have never found out about the grab handle if not for it, or took that risk when they dropped the price to $100... Just sayin, we are stubborn creatures. I dunno, I just wanted - or.... needed a grab handle. If I would have gotten a crappy one, I would have chalked it up. I made it work, even though it was a PITA to mount, and I guess I got lucky. But I can't help noticing how many people come on here, myself included, and use this as a guide for products they want to try rather than heed the warnings.

It would be great to see a reputable seller make some of this stuff and just lock this thread and throw it in the dungeon. I don't know what else they make, but the grab handle at least serves a purpose and could easily be sold by someone else. I just browsed their website and it seems like it's been limited to a tailgate lock actuator, - tons of options there, a door handle LED - which I think MESO makes, and some hoodies... Looks like the grab handle was being discontinued when I bought it, so what's the deal? Maybe it's long beyond time to cut the head off this snake?

 

Still happening? I just got the harness over the weekend and was about to go looking for that Rav4 install video because why would there be install instructions included.

I did not - That's just an extra extra extra...many more extra stings on top of it all.

 

I fell for the bowl lights (ice blue) and love them, absolutely love the ease of install and how nice they look. The HUD experience has been less pleasant. But you gotta hand it to her, despite near zero customer service, she's delivering decent product... eventually!

 

She makes resells cool shit that nobody else is doing. So I get it. I've been eyeing up bowl lights myself. But so far I have a grab handle without proper install hardware that I've been emailing her for months on that she was supposed to send with the HUD. A HUD that I now just received the wiring that it should have had from the start - wiring that has no install instructions and we have to go off of a Rav4 install video on. And one person who did that install is stating that there is some buzzing coming from the unit.

I preordered both at the same time and it's been so long ago that there is no way to get a refund (heck in that time period I switched banks and thus switched CCs so the original CC that was used I no longer have).

I keep having faith that the HUD can be slapped together in a workable fashion by someone on this thread.

 

I did not. That's hilarious. I did get this oddly cut sticker though. I thought it was a temporary tattoo when I first saw it.
