I did not realize that the standard engine in a Bronco Sport was a 1.5L turbocharged 3-cylinder...

Agreed, the department in charge of naming models at Ford has made drastic screwups lately IMHO.

I like the Maverick myself but dont care for the name as there were better choices. GM screwed up too naming that Camaro SUV a Blazer...

I paid $37K for mine. There is no dang way I'd be paying anything close to $75K for a Bronco.

I NEED the rear high clearance bumper soon! Got a trip to Idaho in April and I really need high clearance and the tire off the back gate.

Is yours a 2-door or a 4-door? And what trim? Fred Beans has a been a price gouger since long before COVID or this hyperinflated economic mess started; The only reason my dad bought his Yukon from there in 2018 is because at the time I was working there and was able to apply my employee discount.

I’ll send you the money now for an early prototype. I just want body width, high clearance with swing gate and would love integrated hitch.

    manual of course

Mine is a no option 2dr Black Diamond. Paid right at $37K for it. Ordered the Bilstein coilovers from Ford that are going into the Badlands trim as they have the most travel of any of the OEM suspensions for front and rear. Replaced rear trailing arms with uniball Camburg. So far I'm at just over $39K in it.

So I'm doing a trip at the end of April to Idaho and will need to use a hitch mounted cargo carrier. I do not have the factory tow hitch. Do you think you will have a rear bumper on the market in time, or do I need to get the receiver hitch from you for the trip and plan on the bumper later?

Bronco Raptor reveal. Great to see Ford bringing factory 37s to market, even if the the tire+wheel combo weighs 101 lbs!

Rear axle said to be upsized from Dana 44 to Dana 50. Steering wheel gets paddle shifters like the F150 Raptor:

UCA rear bushing is double-shear while the front bushing is single-shear, with an angle sensor (presumably tied to the electronically-controlled shocks):
