Yes it's a '17 and that is the factory display. Tire press symbol on due to failed battery in one wheel sensor.

There’s a spot in downtown Pismo that likes to flood and people would get all rowdy and love driving through it. Funny thing is it only was there at high tide. Hmmmm. I wonder why?

I know exactly what you’re referring to. It was low tide when we were there (always check the tide chart for the area and plan accordingly) and it’s easy to cross at that point. It’s on the south end right before Oceano Dunes. Didn’t go through for two good reasons; 1) didn’t have a whip flag 2) not sure where there local self service car wash is to blast the salt water off the undercarriage. I did see one Tacoma when we were leaving Morro Bay after lunch that looked like he blasted through it; the entire truck looked like it was covered with wet sand. Only the tailgate was untouched and that was the only clue that it was Super White.

 

What does drive more like a truck mean? Mine has stock tires and still feels like a truck, only difference when I put on the ATs is the noise

For a HAM newbie, it’s extremely easy to setup and use. Repeater programming is a breeze, and the APRS functions very well. I have a Lido Mount on the way - it interfaces with the RAM mount and 400XDR even better than the generic RAM mount.

I think I’m sold on the pro’s. After watching videos and looking at pics on our trucks. It’s been foggy in th PNW lately too! Did you get a good deal? Anybody know who’s got a good deal on these SS3 Pros? TIA.

Installed the stinger heigh10 with flush mount kit and have been nothing but happy with it so far. Has all the features I wanted like extra cam inputs,steering wheel controls retention, carplay and android auto, and the display is beautiful (I added a firestick to the hdmi so I could watch whatever I want while waiting around the local malls for the other half ). Please ignore the messy floor mat as the weather here has been nasty and the dirt and salt is horrible.
