My first car was my dad's '97 F-150. Wasn't anything special and I know they were largely a POS but I've always had a soft spot for the body style because of the memories.



First one of my own that I bought after that at 18 yrs old was an even bigger POS, enter the 4cyl Dodge Dakota that couldn't keep up with it's own shadow. Owned 3 months then rolled that predatory loan into a '99 Prerunner

 

Florida has weird seagulls

The Tacoma is my first car, I put 56k on it since I started driving it in 2016.

Was my dad’s company truck, and when the company was liquidating they gave it to him. Had 75k when I got it!

 

Occasionally we'll see seagulls near our house which is a good 50+ miles from the ocean, kinda weird.

 

I have a better question. Why do they have teeth on there tongue?

My first vehicle was a Chevy Astro van, it was great. It started my love of utility. That thing was a house, friend and surfboard transporter, you could take the seats out in no time and set them next to a campfire. Solid first ride.

 

Super nice. I keep getting tempted, just holding out a little longer to see if anything modern pops up I can snag. (Like a GX)

 

One of my friend's dad had one of those growing up. He'd cart us and our friends around in it without any seats lol.
