This is fantastic Jared! Really reminds me of when I started riding a long time ago and we would do Bike Week vacations all over.

I've been a lot of forums. There have only been a couple with people as tight as we all on here, and those were an older crowd. One thing they did though was like every 3 or 4 years, they would all do a 3 or 4 day cruise. Being older though, most were empty nesters. A lot or the majority I bet of TW members are younger, and have families. Babies don't stop people though as I've seen plenty of times on here.

I think a full day starting with a huge meat laden breakfast, then 4 or 5 hours of wheeling, snacks and road sodas, then clean up before a nice dinner, some drinks around the fire, then bed! All with friends and their families would be wonderful!

A great idea , I am gonna be all over this next time. Some sharpies, and I know you can get stick on name tags at Office Depot, Staples, etc.

Funny, Debbie and I just watched a food channel show this weekend......."Best Places in America to Pig Out", and this place in Glen Burnie, Md came in like #4

    https://www.champspizza.com/

And here is their signature Crab and Shrimp pizza with Old Bay Seasoning of course.

    upload_2022-1-24_10-14-42.jpg

    That's $140 for a 36" pizza.

But there is a place up near me (https://www.boxhillpizzeria.com/about/) that gets voted best a lot. If you go there on any holiday but especially like Valentines, Moms, Fathers, etc the line is out the door like the sub shops in Philly.

There's a sub shop too near me that serves a really decent one.

They are never cheap, even at a fast food place. The best crab cakes though come from my kitchen. Alas, even that is spendy and it's hard to get decent priced crab meat any more. I start to cap off at $36/$38 a pound. When I was younger the crabs crawled out of the bay into the steamer pots, it was so many of em.

Welcome to the forum :hattip: You stepped into one of the better threads goin's on right now. Lotta buzz whenever there is a meet. A Meat Meet though brings out the animal in all of us! There are quite a few people close to you on the forum. I'm Rob. I'm about 3 miles south of the Pa line near the Susquehanna River, in Norther Harford County. Basically farms and houses. We have a house, not a farm. We have a ton of people up farther north too. There are NE threads.

Nice to meet you Rob! I'm Jameson. Just crossed PA on I-80 to/from Cleveland last weekend. Happy to bring the grill to a Meat Meet anytime. Looking forward to warmer weather.

I found Dalessandros being much more finely chopped and Chubbys was more course in texture. Cheese and bread were very close to each other. the meat texture did it for me.

For a really good cheese steak go try the Forksville General Store in Forksville, PA.

    https://www.forksvillestore.com/

I've been there about 3-4 times in the past 3 years and think it's better than anything I've had in Philly. Added bonus of being between a couple of pretty nice state parks for those who might want to camp up there and make a weekend of it.

I've always ridden up on the bike as there are some really nice motorcycle roads on the way there. Depending upon which way you come in you might even have to enter town by crossing a covered bridge which makes for a great photo op. Just throwing it out for a possible future meet like May or June sometime.

I like at Chubby's, even though it's obvious you're a tourist, or maybe this is your first time there, how they extend a warm welcome by screaming at you the second time if you don't hear them the first, to "wait outside!".

Gets me right in the feels! :drevil:

I was like WTF? Is she gonna ESP me it's ready, cause sure shit'n she does not look happy enough to waddle out there to tell me. o_O
Philly, City of Brotherly Love. It's not much different than Baltimore though and I dislike that place too.

Yea, on the website, if you scroll down, they have a photo of the bridge. It's one of the longer ones I've seen (yes, of course, that's what she said :humble:).

edit - this is a place we would ride to from O.C. Md. to, back in the day. The last bike I had was the Tri-Glide Ultra in two tone. Like all my vehicles, it too was modded.

Please tell me your Irish! Nice, a transplant from Cleveland. Yea, it's much warmer where you are now! :anonymous:

At least before you had a decent reason for it. You could look at and curse the lake. Now you're just gonna look crazy spinning around cursing nothing. When I visit I do it so I feel like I fit in so it will be ok for you being a local.

I steer clear of those events now. Too crowded and too much whiskey throttle. It's only 205 miles one way so that's no big deal. Ride down for lunch then ride home.

Yes on the Irish, not so much on being from Cleveland. More like I spend about 3 weekends there during the winter at Ray's Indoor Mountain Bike Park. The wind off lake is f*cking cold though.
