The Explorer, he liked the Festiva.
Said the Festiva is still one of the best cars he owned.

If the truth were known, I think he really sold it because all the high school kids made fun of it.
He was a school Resource Officer.

One of four insultingly low orders that came in during this morning's Dash...

This one wasn't so bad in terms of payout, though I still declined it because it was under $7. My grievance was that it was one of those orders that requires me to shop for the items and pay for them with the Red Card; It pisses me off that within a year, DoorDash became InstaCart...

    :annoyed:

    $17.51 for a bagel?
Ain’t no way in hell I’d pay that.

I abruptly stopped doing DoorDash in early March 2020, due to COVID, and didn't resume until the end of January 2021; I did DoorDash extensively from July 2019 to March 2020, and the orders consisted exclusively of picking up already-made food from restaurants and delivering it to the customer. Sometimes the customer was a retail employee on their lunch break, and unfortunately some were in apartments, but most were in single-family homes and townhomes.

At some point during 2020, DoorDash became a grocery-shopping service like InstaCart. In the middle of a pandemic, I was not about to do this!

Neither would I, but it's pure profit to me! I have been driving for DoorDash since July 2019, but I've never used their services as a customer!

I purposely beat the shit out of one these one proving grounds in this game; It is clearly based on the Buick Century and Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera/Cruiser, though this one is a fairly loaded up V6 model...

    D9567540-476B-4853-BE7A-51D399E64EB7.jpg

My friend has a state-of-the-art steering wheel with a 3-pedal setup and a 6-speed gearshift; I wanted to drive manual, and the only manual variant of the wagon available without "force selecting" is a base model with the 2.2L 4-banger and a 4-speed. It accelerates very leisurely and won't even hit 95 MPH, but it's a very solidly built front-wheel drive station wagon with a manual transmission, and there's a lot of fun to be had there! At one point I ended up damaging the oil pan going over rough terrain and the engine ended up seizing. Some fans of the game compare the car to a Chrysler, specifically a Dodge Dynasty or Plymouth Acclaim, but the car is so clearly based on a GM product you'd have to be blind not to see it; For example, the interior is basically a simulated exact replica of the real thing, right down to the HVAC controls that were ubiquitous in basically all GM vehicles from about 1973 to 1996, and the Delco cassette deck that was installed in everything from Cadillacs to Cavaliers from about 1985 to 1997. It even says "AUTO REVERSE" on the cassette door like the real thing!

There's a couple of those making appearances at car shows in my area, both 1994 convertibles!
