Agreed. My wife got mild symptoms (minor body aches) last Wednesday. Tested on Thursday morn and came back positive.

We quarantined together til today. Figured there was no avoiding getting it from her, so we lived like normal (no distancing, masks etc). I have to get a negative test 5 days after her symptoms (today) in order to go back to work.

I tested negative. So weird to me that I didn't get it. Not vaccinated and never had it. Either I've had it at some point and was asymptomatic, or I am super human...

Glad you dodged the bullet!

Im still dealing with some lingering fatigue a week or so after getting a positive PCR test, and a slight cough that isn’t like anything I’ve had before. But all in all, not a huge deal.

What’s crazy is that it damn near killed my former boss. It’s super individual, seems like.

 

It has to do with your viral load, the test has to detect a certain amount of it to show a positive. I've known several people that had the same thing happen, significant other tested positive but the other person only ever tested negative. Can still spread it though so it's good you're quarantined anyway.
