Oh man... much better than a CT. I'll give em that. Still the epitome of overkill.

I was laughing at the Tacoma Off Road Sticker awkwardly placed on the bottom of the rear doors.

I'll have to share some of the local Kalispell used car lots prices here. Before I bought my Subaru I went looking used. No way in hell. This was even before the market shortage (markups). Montana rapes people on used vehicles. Just browsing the CL cars/trucks section and you see 2014 tundras going for over 30k.

The newest examples of this generation of Camry (MY1997-2001 in North America) are just four short years away from being eligible for antique tags in Pennsylvania and several other states as of this post; However, Camrys are not exactly rare or sought after like certain other Toyota vehicles of this era, and the majority of the examples I see in my area are beaten to shit.

This later example (2000-2001) that I spotted in the Home Depot parking lot while running an errand for work is far from being immaculate and bares the scars of at least 21 years on the road, but it looks to be care for; I also have a feeling that it is not originally from Pennsylvania or anywhere further north due to the the apparent lack of rust. While one of the wheel covers does not match the other three, all four are at least Toyota OEM!

I saw a 2014 Tundra Double Cab Limited with over 100K miles at a Thompson Toyota in Doylestown, Pennsylvania last year (Have pictures of it in my "Tundra Stalking" thread); It started out at like $36K if I remember correctly, but they marked it down to about $32K before someone finally bought it. The truck was mint, but charging new truck money for a 7-year old truck with over 100K miles is just being an asshole in my opinion!

Another one I saw while doing DoorDash; An early (I'm guessing 1991-1993) Previa that I saw in an apartment complex when turning around. It is not in the best shape, though it is not rusty like many I've seen; It's registered in North Carolina and the dealer logo on the lower left corner of the liftgate (Toyota of Concord) combined with the lack of rust would indicate that this van spent most of its life in the Southeast before ending up here...

I ran the Previa's license plate through Carfax, and found that it's 1994 model; I knew it would have high miles (pretty much all Previas I've both in person and for sale online do) but I was shocked, based on its condition, to see that it has about 300K miles!

Also, this Previa was just purchased by it's 5th owner in September 2021; Records show that they've put close to 6,000 miles on it in the four months they've had it. I was thinking that maybe they'd bought it in NC, but that they lived here in PA and just hadn't registered it yet, but it would appear that this is an NC resident who puts the same amount of mileage on their van that I put on my truck. Either way, this is one of the cleanest Previas I've ever seen that didn't come Arizona, Nevada, Texas, or somewhere on the West Coast; According to Carfax, it has been registered in North Carolina it's whole life! I do believe that NC is one of the states covered in the Tacoma frame recall, but I know that weather in most of the state is far more mild than here in Pennsylvania...

Even before the pandemic and supply shortages, which fed into this insane seller's market, I seem to remember that new homes in the Denver metro area were priced into the stratosphere; I seem to remember $700K+ for a brand new 3-bedroom contemporary-style home of maybe 2,700 square feet less than five years ago...?!?!

This is what $400K will get you in my area; This house is small and does not have central A/C, but it has 3 bedrooms, it has been heavily renovated, and the inside is absolutely beautiful!

If I had 20% for a down payment, I would seriously consider buying this damn place; All it needs is central air!

Your exact house, in my area, in it's current condition...? Easily $300K+...

$250K at a minimum since it's a 2-bedroom with no basement and it needs a bit of updating, but you could five or six houses the price of yours in your area for what the same place would cost here!

Yeah mine is roughly the same square footage as that blue one but right only 2 bed and 2 bath. But also has a little land and a garage too.

The amount of land you have would probably make your property worth ten times more in Bucks County than it is in Ohio; Hell, in my area, some developer would probably buy the land, tear down the house, subdivide the land, and build half a dozen $600K+ houses!
