My wife thinks a tent on top of the truck is overpriced and dumb vs just ground tenting, but I had sleeping on the ground. Hiker trailer is easier on the wallet even spec'ed out halfway decent, so that's probably the way we'll go.

The trailer would be dope. I was very against any RTT and after the ground tent was doing the camper shell platform but tried it with the wife and kid and it was a no-go. Then I got the well if you have one of those tents (she saw one of them at a show). Then the SuperPacific popped up and the stars aligned. Cost is hard but it is def nice to have a quick camp setup with decent weather resistance.

Sorry if I missed it, how much did you pay for the re-arch and AAL? My rear is sagging bad and have been tempted to order a custom set of alcans, but if I can get by with a re-arch and AAL for a couple years that would be much preferable...depending on the cost of course.

It was 575 out the door. Dropped off to them and the next day they had it done. I like the fact of being able to get it custom set to the truck and persons wants vs getting a standard mass produced leaf pack and it end up not sitting how you want it.

I have to admit man... if I could get over my obsession with having a long bed one day (currently in my first car which is a 3rd gen T4R)... your Taco is damn ideal. Not sure I'd change anything about it. Perfect mix of still relatively practical, and capable of having a blast anywhere and everywhere you take it. Badass build!

That is awesome. Cheaper than I would have imagined with them having to remove and re-instal leafs. I will give my local spring shop a call. Thanks!

Trail Limos are nice for space, a pain in tight trails. Ask me how I know.... :anonymous:

I used to think limos were the way... Now I'm pretty sold on an access cab. As long as I never have to ride in the back myself :D

If I had an AC it'd be a whole lot easier for me to jump on ditching the rear seats. I'd have room for storing camping gear and crap instead of a tool box in the bed.
