I thought we were just talking about snacks and baking (FYI if you type midget baker into google search it only comes up with Baker MAyfield pictures) But now we are into tossing and lawn care and BBQing. Where do the midgets end ?!?!

 

It ends when I fulfill my dream. 40 acres, a hundred midgets on miniature horses playing cowboys and Indians and a jumping castle filled with jello shots and a Coors light waterfall.....

So how much do you like your rims? Thinking about this, if you swap me wheels so I’m down to 35’s, and I add spacers to limit my rear shocks to 14”, I’ll just enter 4600 class next week and we’ll have some fun. Your wheels will likely not come back in one piece thoigh

Update on my wrecked Tacoma from a couple weekends ago. Initial estimate from the collision center is just under $18k in repairs. No identified frame damage. Insurance adjuster said this is very close to it being totaled and the estimates can change after they go through the insurance company's process. Other insurance accepted 100% fault, which is nice. I was told it could be totaled out but possibly not. At this point I am unfortunately looking to move on. If they don't total it initially I will submit a diminished value claim, as the resale/trade-in value of it is clearly diminished, especially with so many Tacomas here in Arizona--if somebody hears mine had such a major wreck and repairs done, they can go two blocks down the road and find one that wasn't wrecked. So I'll be pushing for them to write me a check; I'm really hoping they just call it a total loss right off the bat because I don't want this to drag out for a long time.

However it ends up, I am unfortunately planning on leaving the ranks of Tacoma owners and moving into a full-size truck. I have some plans for the house that will require some extra hauling and towing capacity and we are planning on buying a camper trailer at some point pretty soon. Plus, full size trucks are just so. damn. comfortable. Enterprise gave me a Ram 1500--I get 30 days of car rental free as part of my insurance policy and can submit for reimbursement from the other side's insurance for anything beyond that--and just the extra room and having a V8 with a smooth transmission is great.

I'm looking at either a Ram 1500 in the Big Horn or Laramie trims, or the new Tundra. So if anybody has recommendations on solid Ram dealerships or a good Toyota dealership that has the new Tundras in stock, drop me a line.

Damn that sucks to hear and I totally understand the mindset of moving on from your baby. Once you see her in that state she will never be right in your eyes again. I cant help you on the full size front tho. Havent done much research into it. I have been eyeballing a Tundra tho. Just dont need it really yet an ddont want the payment. I am looking forward to seeing what the "Raptor killer Tundra" is going to be tho.
