Someone drove their farm truck C10 to work. Crazy how these were everywhere when I was a kid and now it’s almost notable when you see one.

oh and a rust bucket 5 lug 90s Toyota pickup blew the doors off me yesterday on the highway. Front fender was flapping in the wind with one bolt left. Bedsides below the fuel door were gone. And no rockers. I’ve seen it twice so I’ll need to grab a picture sometime.

Walked out of Lowes last night and saw an older man in head-to-toe denim with cowboy boots and hat get into a Dodge of the same era. Like both he and the truck just came out of a time machine. I actually see that sort of man/truck combo kinda regularly around here... ranchers, I assume.

And obviously that rust bucket was going to beat you. It's had significant weight reduction.

Damn, my coils are already shipped.

The fronts that is; rears not until end of next month :bananadead:

Curious to see the length of the Eibach shocks; maybe part the kit out for an easier sale.

I would've been surprised if it was. Do the FSM procedure, it's really simple. Let it sit overnight, loosen & tighten the gas cap, let it warm up to operating temp then hold the RPMs at 3k in neutral for 10 seconds. Supposedly that's supposed to set the emissions monitors. Oh and the gas tank needs to be between 3/4 full and over 1/4 tank full

of course it didn't work for me but a long highway drive + 4lo for a few miles did. But without 4lo you'll probably just have to send it on the highway for awhile.

Do you have a scan gauge? Any obdII reader will tell you if the monitors are ready or not, so you don't have to waste time going to the smog shop only to have them tell you its not ready

@Das it mang I remember you said you had a SG, when you check for codes it will say "not ready" or "ready" at the bottom. You want it to say 'ready' obv

should save you the trouble of going to the smog shop every time when its not ready yet

    PXL_20211212_205019412.MP.jpg

and whatever you do, don't go into the MORE selections and hit clear codes or it starts all over lol
