Good info! to each his own I guess. I like the cush ride and better acceleration and MPG of the SL. When I want crisp handling I drive my BMW. :D

Thanks. I've been a customer for years. You guys always treat me right. I would love to see these tires come out in a C load version.

I’d love one of those PMs too, thanks. Getting some new wheels delivered this weekend and will want to pull the trigger on some fresh rubber!

Dont be discouraged because of the SL load rating! I had Duratracs (LT265/75/16C) in the past that were load C but the load index was 112 while these (265/75/16 SL) have a load index of 116. So these SL's are rated to carry a heavier load 2756lbs @51psi vs the load C duratrac max of 2469lbs at 50psi! It's confusing because of the letter of load rating. Now if you step up to a load E then the index is like 123. read this https://www.americastire.com/learn/load-range-load-index?storeCode=1734

It's more the puncture resistance I worry about. Good info though!

I hear ya. Get the load E then because these and any load C are probably about the same in that regard. Maybe I've been lucky or just very careful in the rocks as I havent cut one yet. I've been in plenty of sharp rocks. Air down of course and pick your lines very carefully and easy on the skinny pedal.

A 265/75/16/116 reaches max carry capacity at 36 psi. Anything over is to maintain speed rating.

Got some 265/75x16 on order along with some new wheels. Hopefully the snow will hold out here as I want to test them out.

I'm about to purchase a set of 265/75x16 from @Discount Tire for my 2020 SR5 stock suspension Tacoma. It came stock with 245/75/16 tires. From reading the reviews, it sounds like these should fit? Thank you.
