Speaking of parking with the flow of traffic I got a good story. So I drive tow trucks and did relocations during snow storms. Well we had a Street we would drop them on where parallel parking was in the middle of the street. I had towed close to 20 cars and dropped them all in those spots backwards (against the flow of traffic). Well come to find out not only did those people get a ticket for street parking during the snow storm, had their cars towed, but they all got tickets because I parked there cars backwards. So you may call me what you want but that was funny.

 

Trying to cash in on the Wars concept A&E had been riding the wave of with the Storage Wars original and spinoffs. As an aside, Shipping Wars was a pretty fun show.

I don’t think those were his wings. I work with some former airborne, and when you use the words on them that I used on this guy, you get a fight.

Blaming others for your bad decisions? I'll have to try that.

 

I hate to say it but with the way some people, actually lots of people, just don't give a crap about dinging, scratching or hitting someone else's car, I have great patience with folks parking away from everyone and getting creative to do everything they can to avoid having some jackass damage their pride and joy while they're shopping/out/parked. However, no sympathy for the schmuck that parks in the middle of the lot and takes up four spaces, but a pass for some that park in "unusual" places when nothing is available that seems relatively isolated. It's maddening to come back to find a new ding or dent when you've parked a quarter mile from the entrance of WalMart and some fat, lazy bastard decided to park next to you and either tried or couldn't keep his slovenly ass from flinging the door of his prius into my vehicle.

As an aside, after years of sportier cars, I once parallel parked my truck from the curbside when a delivery van was mostly blocking access to the spot from the street side. It was surprisingly satisfying...

Yup, some people show others the same respect they show themselves, little or none at all.

 

So true but very few will admit it's not the correct thing to do.

 

Well, i'm definitely being extremely sarcastic with my posts. I was pretty angry at my idiocy for the entire evening. lol
